I love this motel! The secure parking and access is a big plus. The rooms are spacious, modern and bright. It is located centrally in town. The staff are great, the bed is comfortable, I like the shower, and I appreciate the mini-bar options, especially breakfast.

Lovely renovated motel. We had to check in out of hours and the instructions were easy and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast provisions to purchase, and quality crockery and linen. Would recommend!

A bit of a battle to find for first time visitors There’s a hotel property adjacent which is either undergoing renovations or has closed down so you could be excused for thinking it’s a derelict property Once you find it though it’s a bit of a hidden gem

We stayed two nights at the Griff Motel in September 2023. The room was newish and modern, nicely furnished with very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was small with the sink doubling as a bathroom wash basin. The small fridge had no freezer so we had to purchase ice. The location is excellent just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing stay

I won’t be staying again. I’m so disappointed as I’ve stayed here previously but this time it was like the neighbours were in my room. I didn’t get a wink of sleep as their TV was so loud until the early hours as the walls are so paper thin. I could even hear the gentleman on the phone! I was staying there before a big event and I left super early as I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Reception staff was absolutely lovely however and the room itself was comfy and clean.
