Room with a view, very centrally located
Lady who checked me in was very friendly and nice. Room was decent, and the hotel was very centrally located, on one of the two main pedestrian area. There’s a view of the lake from my room.

Great location at the heart of agio with tons of great restaurants - perfect pit spot if you are roundtripping crete. Would recommend du lac to anyone. Great value for what you get.

Great location in Eastern Crete
Owing to the uncertain times of the pandemic, hotels generally had their own interpretation of the Covid rules. We stayed at 4 hotels on our visit to Crete and Du Lac had the worst interpretation of the rules - opting to avoid making our bed or to straighten out the room even when we asked for this. We noticed only the trash would be removed. Great location in the centre of town. Easy access to restaurants, the harbour, and long and short walks across town. The lake view is astounding and the restaurant in the Hotel was amazing with great cocktails and the most amazing service. Parking is a short walk away for €3 per day.

Cliff Diving
We were ther for 1 night to see the international Cliff Diving competition. Perfect location with a view of the diving and entertainment. Room was excellent, service great. Very clean. Will return.

Hotel in centre of town, overlooking the lake
A very convenient location, good hotel for a March visit. The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant located across the bridge and left along the lake, up a few steps. Wonderful food! We had coffee at the top of he pedestrian walkway by the hotel each morning. Nice spot the locals used! Good bake shops in the area around the circle near the hotel, and places to pick up fresh fruit, fish etc if you want to cook your own meals. We took the local bus to Elounda one day...a very scenic route! The bus stop was easy to find...just across the bridge, and the staff checked for times of buses for us and printed out a schedule. Lots of places to walk too....around the marina, down into the town etc. Up and down hills, though. We walked up the pedestrian lane way to the circle. Taxis there to take us to the main bus station.

Nice room looked over lake. Balcony. Good price. No breakfast, room only. First three nights room on first floor - generally pretty noisy but after third (vile) night demanded to be moved to higher floor. Bar du Lac (below and to side) making enough niose to be heard in Heraklion. Excessive. Karaoke/live? music thundering up through the floor boards and shower cubicle. Imagine it's even worse in summer as there's also a restaurant below, this time thankfully closed.

It was nice a bit cold and they have normal keys which makes it difficult to share a key with someone you are traveling with.. super nice and accommodating staff.. beautiful view from the lake side balcony

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone under any circumstance. They are way over priced. Not well maintained, not clean. The only good point they are advertising which is their so called "lake view" is not worth at all.

Nice hotel nearby lake and just in the center.
Rooms have their own balcony. You feel you have your own small apt in the center. Lack of breakfast is not a problem as there are many cafes and bakeries within 30 m circle!

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with stunning views over looking the lake in Agios Nikolas. Arrived early and checked straight into our room. We had a studio overlooking the lake and agreed it was definitely worth paying extra for this. The staff were extremely helpful and even arranged an early morning transfer for us to get to the port at Heraklion. A beautiful executive car turned up for us on time next to the hotel which was a lovely touch rather than a normal taxi. Could not fault anything about this hotel. It is very reasonably priced considering the location in the heart of town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agios Nikolas.

This was a very upsetting experience. I asked and was vharged for a one day reservation at Laubrrge du lac hotel at Lake Charles louisiana. We get thefe and the botel had no reservations for us. ON calling Hotel.com we were told our reservation was make at a hotel in Greece. It was very upsetting and the agent would not return our money and we had to pay an additional $160 dollars. I demand that you return all charges including the additional $160 we had to pay. We had been on the road for 7 hours and were very tired and had no choose but pay the extra money. The agent at Laubrrge fu lac talked to your agent and she was not very helpful. They do not have a hotel in Greece.

Very comfortable room. Only issue is that it is on a pedestrian mall making location and access troublesome. Great views and a delightful town which is very well positioned to see eastern Crete, which has not been as spoiled as western Crete

this hotel is centrally located, right in the heart of town, walk to everything. right on the lake, and about 2 blocks to ocean. park for free 2 blocks away! Clean, good bed and bathroom. 180 degree balcony with view of both ocean and bay. this place can not be beat.

We booked the hotel for its location even though it had only one star. Sadly in the detail of the hotel it makes no mention of the fact that there is a very noisy bar/disco on the ground floor. the noise only stopped after five am.... we were unable to sleep for two nights. This is out of season before the big tourist influx so cannot imagine what it is like in the summer. Will not recommend it to anyone.

Room big and clean with small but functional kitchen. The cheaper rooms don't have double beds, just twin beds. We were on the 2nd floor on a Friday night and it wass incredibly noisy until 2 AM. Wifi didn't work at first but was cured when the receptionist re-started it.
