We really enjoyed our stay the onsite restaurant was very convenient and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. we loved our balcony overlooking the falls, and our only down side was the bed was a bit hard, but otherwise the room was clean and affordable.

Late check in was really easy, the staff called beforehand to make sure I was able to get sorted when I got here. The rooms are clean and cosy as well.

Although the room was very clean, there were various issues that needed attention in the room.
Toilet would not flush, shower water temperature adjustment was broken.
The room was dated but very clean.
Late check in consisted of a key in an envelope in a mail box. Registration desk was closed and no one to call.
We did discuss concerns at checkout, but only an apology and if we stayed again to ask for a different room away from the highway.
It was very noisy all night and had vey little sleep!
We had room 20 the room closest to the highway and noted there were several other rooms available when we arrived.
We booked this hotel room through Expedia!
I would not suggest this location and very disappointed with our stay.

We're so sorry you had a bad experience, If anything is broken in the room and it's not visible to the eye if the previous clients doesn't tell us there's no way we're able to fix it without knowing. When you book with expedia they choose your room, as soon as you click to book it the reservation automatically goes into a room. If you do ever stop back again in the near-future and you book trough expedia, please give us a call and ask for a room that is further away from the road and we will do our best to help you with your special request!:) However it is written on expedia that we close at 9PM, we do have a late check-in process, incase of any emergencies you can call the front-desk(after 9PM the calls a forwarded to management) or the emergency # that written a little bit everywhere outside or in the rooms. We do apologize again!
It was pleasant and convenient. Hard to reach by telephone, we eventually got through but the call kept dropping.

Booking through Expedia we chose a room with a Queen bed. Due to my wife’s back and we’re not 20. We have a dog and I entered that when booking. Get to hotel and were told no pet rooms available with a Queen (only have one) and that we would have to pay a pet fee even though our dog is a service dog. Young lady at desk was quite rude about everything and said “we’d have to prove he was a service dog and still pay a fee anyway.” I said I have his service vest and was told “not good enough”. I told her that was illegal and was told “I’d have to modify my attitude”. ???? I’m the guest and had driven 10 hours to get there and my only choices were to take a double bed or contact Expedia to get a refund and go somewhere else. Seriously horrible customer service. We will never go back and will tell everyone we know how we were treated. Terrible. Too bad as we were there last year and did not have the same treatment. She blamed Expedia and me.

We're terribly sorry to see that your stay here was not up to your expectations. As per policy, when you do reserve a room with us, you would need to call the property to let the hotel staff know about you bringing your pet in a timely manner in-order for us to put you in the room that your requested and per availability. The policy is also written on Expedia's side as well.
The room was super clean. We also had breakfast and supper at the rest of the motel, and the food was amazing!
The waitresses serving, 3 we met were very friendly, efficient and fast at their job, speaking fluently French and English. 🙂

The room was very cozy and then having the dining room was such an asset . The food was absolutely delicious . They also supplied the special glasses for the eclipse and it was awesome .I would definitely stay there again

A great stop for an overnight when travelling. Clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. Queen bed was a bit hard, but that’s a personal preference. The room we were in (20) backed and sided on to a major local road and because I’m a light sleeper I heard vehicles all night. My husband slept through. All in all a good clean hotel for a reasonable rate. Would return if in the area and would recommend to any looking for accommodations in Grand Falls. Particularly enjoyed the on-site restaurant, food and local entertainment were great.

We're glad your stay here with us went well! The road next to the room you were in is one of the main roads here in Grand Falls, so it does tend to get busy and noisy at times. We do, however hope to see you stay here with us again sometime in the near-future! :)
The worst 1st day waitress in the world. When your hungry it's worse ten times.
Super cold soup and food we litterally got out of our chairs 6 times to remind them that we were there. 😫
Hotel sheets were soiled and we got moved to another room. Heat unit fan would not shut off all night. Then fridge compressor had its turn keeping me awake. In room coffee machine didnt work. I would try it again since its a nice location.

We're terribly sorry to hear about that... We close the motel around 21:00 hrs and re-open at 08:00 hrs. During the evening when we are closed, if guests have a reservation with us, we have a paper posted on the door outside for our late arrivals explaining where their keys are located. They're located in a black box next to the reception door with an envelope with the guest's name on it as well with their keys.

The rooms are very clean but it is an old motel that was modestly renovated over time. I asked for an iron and ironing board and they provided it promptly. If you are looking for a clean room and a bed at a more affordable price without much fuss, this will work fine.

Arrêt dodo entre les Îles de la Madeleine et Montréal ! Très propre, matelas confortable, restaurant rapide et burger très bon. Préparation du repas et appel à la chambre pour dire quand c’est prêt: avons apprécié cette attention.

Arrived to late in the day to see much. Narrow sidewalks and dark streets make for unsafe walking. Didn't think ahead about difficulty finding dinner on Boxing day ...
