Graen Packages (Flight + Hotel)

The room was clean and had eccess to a private balcony. The only problem was the toilet was difficult to flush. Had to press several times until it finally flush. The morning breakfast crew was great and also the breakfast buffet. While it is great that the hotel is situated near the Vatican, it is sandwiched in between two gas station and on a busy street. So it is very noisy. 24/7 it seems.

This is a good, basic hotel which is convenient for St Peter's and the Vatican. The city centre is also within easy reach via the metro. There is a buffet breakfast with a good selection available in the morning. Staff were very helpful, particularly the night manager who was very helpful when I had a minor accident - a fall in the room. See below. Likewise, the chambermaid was able to confirm that my hairdryer was not working and it wasn't my fault! (It was quickly repaired). The room was small but compact with enough space for me and my belongings. Wifi was patchy at best and the TV channels did not offer much entertainment, the exception being a Sean Connery film (in English, curiously) which I hadn't seen. The one problem: Aurum Hotels, please do NOT have a step between the bedroom and bathroom; a slope would be much safer.

Lots of restaurants, easy walking, felt very safe

I loved the hotel, it is a classic heritage style which I love and is small enough to mean that you get the personal touches that you don’t get in a larger property. Room was beautifully maintained. Restaurant and bar were also lovely with a nice selection in offer. Staff were all faultless and super friendly. Hotel is next to Piazza Del Popolo so well placed for central Rome sights. We travelled with a small child who was also well looked after.

The property was very easy to walk from Roma Termini. The room, property, and surrounding area were clean. The neighborhood was quiet with many food options nearby and in Roma Termini. Breakfast was great, well organized, quick, and delicious. The staff were very nice especially Linvio at the front desk, who gave us alot of great info for getting around. I would recommend and we would definitely stay again
