We loved our stay! We booked the superior ocean view at the beach hotel and it was amazing. Their private beach was perfect and day/evening trips to La Maddalena and Porto Cervo were within an hour reach with car. We would love to come back!

The property was situated on a beautiful beach. The resort itself is a little old, but maintained well. It was early season, so we had a few issues when asking questions from staff members and getting different answers every time. All, in all this hotel is on an amazing beach.

dont get me wrong we had a lovely time and the hotel is in a great location. Overall site is big with lovely pools and also private beach. Our room was decent, did the job but I know others had room problems. For me the two big problems! 1. Restaurant rules and constant cold food. Badly managed like no plates, no food like fruit etc. Managers need to make sure all stations are monitored. Also queues which is down to lack of choice. Every morning, cold eggs and bacon. Its not difficult. 2. wristband rules. So many colours and if you dont have a certain wristband you cant have your dinner in the sitting area with more of a view. I think this is ridiculous. In all my holidays this is the ONLY place that adopts these stupid rules 3. The entertainment is very kid centric. Yes families are there but also couples. No adult level entertainment like a good singer, a band or performer!. The performances were very poor indeed aside from this, its a lovely location but correcting the above will get this hotel and its ratings to the next level.

For the price this is a great place to stay. Half board gets you a buffet breakfast and dinner. Pools were nice, but the music was too loud starting at 4pm. They need to clean the bathrooms better, the tile grout lines in the shower had thick grime on them and the shower floor was slippery.

Good for family, The location is very good, I booked alone and get the triple room... not wat i booked ☹️ The climatisation was not worked at the room, not possible to iron your closes! Not elevator in the hotel and too much stairs.... the restaurant for diner and lunch was far from the room, but good food! The exercusion in the hotel was good for my last day.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are a bit dated. The beach shuttle was amazing, and the beach itself too. The pools are wonderful and the entertainment is great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The only negative was the cleanliness of the room. It would get serviced everyday, but the sheets didn’t get changed the 4 nights we were there. They also don’t seem to vacuum the floor which became really annoying as we had been to the beach and the sand built up and was in the bed and all over the floor. The other negative is the hand wash, it’s some eco friendly thing but doesn’t really work.

The only draw for this resort is the location. View is incredible and its proximity to a gorgeous beach. But unfortunately that’s where my positive review ends. This property, especially for the higher cost, felt like a do-it-yourself summer camp. The hotel room was sparse at best, the bathroom was about the quality of a pool locker room, and the staff was as minimally helpful as they could be. Amazingly for Italy, the food is terrible. And you are in a pretty isolated area, so driving to a restaurant for dinner was about 15 either way (a little nerve-wracking at night since the roads aren’t lit and very winding). We stayed at the Alma Timi AMA resort in Villasimius before driving north on the island, and their breakfast was incredible, their restaurant was excellent and their staff incredibly attentive, so our expectations were high. But I also didn’t know anything about the VOI resorts. The place is really set up for children with a kids club and babysitting, and nightly shows for the kiddies, This is NOT a luxury hotel. If you are looking for a luxury vacation, stay up or down the coast at another hotel.

First the shuttle didn’t show at airport so had to take a cab. We had problems with the lock to our room. It took three days of complaining and they finally changed our key on the last night. Food was par. Almost always cold . Concierge’s were very helpful but the scheduled hours are crazy. Couple hours in AM and then not back on for seven hours and then only for a couple hours

What a nice place. Seemed very popular for local Italians also which was the majority of the guests. Stunning views of the sea and a great private beach. It is on a hill so be prepared to get your steps in walking up and down to various areas. But they do provide a shuttle which is great. Crystal clear water at the beach and the pools were terrific also. Staff super helpful.

The location was amazing. The beach views are unbeatable. This was some of the clearest water we have ever seen. However, the hotel is a bit older with some wear and tear. The rooms could have been a little more clean. Our AC unit was not working and the maintenance person said there was not much he could do, so they brought us fans. Also, important to note, there is loud music/karaoke party every night starting at 9pm and ending around midnight. Even with ear plugs in, we could still hear the music from our room, which made it difficult to sleep.

Beautiful setting with a large pool and close to beach. Access to beach is quick using the shuttle service. Food was fabulous with a huge range of options, from traditional to a wider selection. Fish selection was especially good. Entertainment staff were very friendly and engaging. They quickly made us feel welcome and we enjoyed their company. Very pleased with our spacious double room, especially with two older teenage kids.

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a True 4-Star Resort We have just returned from a 6-night stay at VOI Colonna Village in Sardinia. We were three families traveling together, and unfortunately, we were all disappointed by several aspects of this hotel. The biggest issue is that this is simply not a true 4-star resort. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Ours was not properly cleaned upon arrival. We found an ant nest on the ceiling, dead mosquitoes stuck to the ceiling, mold in the shower, and no balcony. Instead of a pleasant view, we overlooked trash, coffee cups, plastic bags, and old clothes. We have photos of everything. We were assigned a room in Building 1000, which is in a poor location directly facing the staff working area. It was noisy and far from what we expected when booking months in advance. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others made us feel unwelcome because we didn’t speak Italian. We definitely noticed a difference in how foreign guests were treated. There were also several unexpected extra charges. You must leave a deposit for the room safe, another deposit for beach towels, and if you want to replace your towel during your stay, you have to pay an additional fee. Charging guests to change towels at a 4-star all-inclusive resort is disappointing. The shuttle to the beach is infrequent, so be prepared to wait or walk about 30 minutes back to your room.
