Gnarabup is probably 10-15 mins away from Margaret River's town cener. This beach itself is not very wide, but it stretches along the coast and joins up with Prevelly.

  • Serendipity moment! And what an awesome one! We drove to Margaret River to see the spectacular beaches and to do some wine tasting and little did we know that the Margaret River Pro Drug Aware surf competition was on - so one morning we parked up really early at 7am and watched the ladies surf the whole day! It was absolutely phenomenal! And the event was for free too :) awesome right?! Also very stoked to have taken a photo with the winner of the men's competition: De Souza. We happened to be at the right time and the right place! Absolutely stoked! I decided to share one of Ben's photos today - as I'm totally in love with his style. Close to a great beach at Margaret River to walk and surf. Easy access to surrounding area to use as a base and the site and a lovely “bar/pub” for a nice relaxed end to winter’s day on the coast !

Fabulous location right on the beach, terrific cafe opposite giving half price discount for breakfast for apartment guests and a yoga studio in the complex. Wonderful stay.

Lovely property

excellent location and property was modern and clean and just a short walk to the beach . Food was lovely at the resort and the cafe specials were an added extra. Great pool and sauna, my review would have been 5* but the bed was a little too hard so probably glad I didn’t stay longer than a few days

Great welcome and service from front desk and after hours support. Comfortable walking distance to beach and White Elephant Cafe. On site bar and restaurant is convenient if you are looking for a venue close to your accomodation. Rooms were functional but furnishings were not consistent with the price. Living room was sparsely furnished and did not provide a comfortable area for relaxing. Sofa in lounge was small and basic and not commensurate with what you would expect at this level of accomodation. Noise transfer (speech & plumbing) from other rooms was noticeable.

The 2 storey townhouse with 2 bedroom and 2 ensuite bathrooms were perfect for us. Bedrooms were on the first level which made sense so that we don't have to carry luggages to the 2nd level. The 2nd level has kitchen, dining area, living room, washer and dryer, and an extra toilet. We could get a sea view from the balcony which was great but the wind was so strong on the days we were there, we couldn't stay out there for long. We could park right in front of the townhouse. Kitchen was well equipped with microwave and oven. We had a power trip in the morning which was quickly resolved with a call to front office. Thanks to Sam who came promptly to our unit to restore power 😄. The only gripe is the "strange" layout for the shower area - bathtub that is so huge and high i had difficulty getting in and out, and it is open concept... so u have to close the bedroom door (which cannot be locked!) while u take a bath... Overall it was a good stay. Is close to the beach and cafe which opens till afternoon..and there is restaurant onsite which opens from 4pm for dinner and drinks. We drove about 10min to town for dinner as wanted to explore the area.

Loved the location, the room was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the walls were quite thin so there was a bit of noise at night from other rooms and the pub.

Could have been a lot better!

No address on the website if you had one. On hotels.com there was no address nor a phone number. Took a long time to find you. Got in late after dinner. This morning just after 10 the cleaning person arrives to tell that we were suppose to be out already which we knew, but we had trouble washing clothes. The washing machine didn’t start up when we went to bed. Maybe our fault, but the first load worked fine, so? When she came by the clothes were in the dryer. We found a plastic bag then removed our wet clothes. We are now trying to find a place to dry them…

The 2 bedroom apartment I got was not very child friendly. Knives are left bare in low kitchen drawers. Bathtub was very slippery - even without soap. Lots of corners to be wary of - good thing the furniture is movable so we just moved the short tables to the sides. Floor was pretty 'sticky' at some areas but smooth and slippery around others -2 of 3 of us took a slip during our stay. The kitchen was minimally equipped but the pot and pan there was small - considering it was a 2 bedroom apartment that could stay 4 pax. I couldn't find any scissors to cut grocery tags etc so had to use the knives. Our aircon/heater was very weak - only strong enough to heat the sitting area right in front of the aircon/heater - didn't help that the aircon vents could not rotate/adjust (slightly broken i think - we had another apartment that was well heated by the same set up so believe it was a problem with the aircon/heater). Shower towel rack dropped right off the wall when we put our towel on - a close inspection showed that the securing screw that held the rod to the wall bracket was no longer there. The blinds were not working at first - realized the chain connector was off the gear - managed to fix it myself. I will probably not stay here again. White elephant cafe a walking distance away is really nice though - good views and good food.
