"March break stay with the kids and got denied. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding my check-in experience. Despite having already paid for my stay through Hotels.com, I was denied check-in because I did not have a credit card. I have stayed at this location previously and was able to use a $200 debit cash hold for incidentals. However, the front desk was completely unaccommodating and refused to accept this form of payment today. Furthermore, the Hotels.com booking information does not state that a credit card is a mandatory requirement for check-in. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told there was no manager on duty to address the situation. As a result, we left the hotel despite having a confirmed and fully paid night stay."

"The suite we stayed in was clean and super comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our kids loved the pool and game room. Breakfast was yummy, hot and included. Overall we had a great time away with the kiddos. "

"When we arrived, there was a hidden pet fee and parking fee. It was 2am, not in the mood to argue. We got to our room and had smaller beds than what I paid for. Exhausted, whatever, there then was a party in the room next door. I don’t mind noise, but they kept banging on the walls and was quite literally shaking our headboards to a point we couldn’t sleep. At 4am asked the front desk to talk to them. Unfortunately there’s not much they could do. Only stayed 7 hours because of the inconveniences."

"Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and off the highway. Not a lot of TV channel choices but a great nights rest. I liked it so much I went back for another night!! Thanks for great nights of sleep. "

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"

"I enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. It was old, but the room was clean and spacious. The internet was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was not grand--but certainly sufficient. It may not be as posh as some other places, but fair enough--it's less expensive."
