"Great hotel with lots of updates. Not at all what you'd expect from a typical Super 8. Just make sure you get there early for breakfast. It's nice that they offer a breakfast, don't get me wrong, but there isn't much on offer, and if you are there after 8:30, they do not replenish anything. We got there at 8:40 and all that was left besides the waffle maker was 3 slices of bread for toasting and one muffin. My suggestion to the hotel, either extend your breakfast hours or replenish your offerings until your posted end time. That is my only complaint. Everything else is fantastic."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this very reasonably priced hotel about a stone's throw from Sturbridge Village, right off the Mass Pike. I don't know if it's recently remodeled, but everything looks new. Super clean and spacious room, lots of channels on the TV, lots of plugs for devices, good shower, microwave and fridge that actually is cold. I didn't do breakfast, and the pool is unfortunately. undergoing maintenance, but this is a great place to stay for travelers. (A Panera is across the parking lot.) I go out to Western Mass often, and this is a good middle-of-the-trip location. I'll be back!"

"If you like old inns with modern amenities in historic places , this is your place. The beds are comfortable, the restaurant is first rate for breakfast or dinner, and there's a lovely, spacious library with a fireplace for reading or conversation with friends. The front desk staff are universally friendly and helpful, and provide an unlimited number of bottles of Saratoga water, on request. The inn is located alongside a leafy quad that reduces noise from Amherst's main road. Given the inn's age, a guest might experience noise from heavy-footed guests in the room above, but we did not. Noise was not an issue."

"The room was a nice size and very clean. Thd pool area was also well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the check out time being 12 instead of the usual 10 or 11. Made for a relaxing morning instead of a rushed departure."
