"Views are great from ocean-view rooms. Kitchenette is equipped with everything you’ll need. Rooms are spacious-enough and well-planned. Washer/dryer (all-in-one) is tough to figure out, but in their defence I didn’t ask for help or a manual. I did Google it though and still couldn’t figure it out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Altogether a pleasant place in a pleasant neighboorhood."

"I love the location…the place to be in Vancouver. This was my third stay , all have which have been exactly what I need n accommodation. The suite was appointed with a full kitchen and there is Safeway two blocks away. I’ve stayed at the two hotels that are within a block, and the English Bay Hotel offers much more for much less. Highly recommended unless you expect a five star experience."

"Unlike the reviews, we found the property fine, clean, pleasant and completely acceptable for the price. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Breakfast was OK, not great but ok, just a little below Dennys.. This is not the Fairmount or Rosewood Georgia, and for those who have those grandious expectations perhaps stay in town and open your wallets instead of complaining...."
