"While looking for a Hotel to spend the night at on a trip from Michigan to Texas I came across this little gem. I skipped over it because it looked like a Motel and we usually stay away from Motels from past experiences. But for some reason I started reading the reviews and was intrigued. So I booked a room for the night just to check it out and what a surprise. It is like a Motel with a Hotel feel. The owner was at the counter and was very friendly, courteous and helpful. It was the 4th of July so they had only two rooms left. I use a wheelchair and he was very accomodating getting me a downstairs room. It looked like a Hotel room instead of a Motel room. Bedding, flooring and furnishings were like that of a $140 night Hotel room. The beds were comfortable. There was a large TV with plenty of channels to unwind with. The Hotel happened to be near where they were having their 4th fireworks so everyone was outside watching the show. Even the owner and his beautiful little girl where enjoying them with the guests. The room and bathroom both smelled and looked clean when you walked in. The bedding smelled fresh. Just an overall wonderful experience. We make this trip twice a year and I will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night or a weekend that you give Greenlite Inn & Suites a try. They do have a pool which we did'nt check out and amenities are few but give them a try!!!"
"Adorable and cozy while we were traveling through with our family. I accidentally booked a smoking room, and the front desk manager was so kind to switch it and we got in very late, so I was very thankful that he did that because I have small children. He mentioned that he wouldn't want to have his children in a smoking room either. So he completely understands"
