Room was clean. Bedsheets were clean but the mattress was stained badly, I understand some stains cannot be removed but the stained looked like the area was pat dry. Good area to stay very close to everything.

The hotel was easy to reach by tram. Sites were close by as well as a number of restaurants. The coffee machine and ability to fill your water bottle at reception were very handy. Rooms were clean and looked to be newly renovated. Common areas were very nice.

Everything is wonderful except the room walls are thin - noise from next door could be loud. Other than that, this no frills hotel have everything. If you are an early riser, then have breakfast option here, because cafes do not open until 9 am at earliest in town.

Such a fab location and a really cute hotel!! Everything was simple, free and unlimited tea and coffee in reception was a nice touch - I also had facilities in my room but not all rooms do have a kettle so something to be aware of). Nice room and ok breakfast but for the price I really can’t complain! If I was being picky there were a lot of black marks and scratches on the walls of my room. But the location is amazing - so central and literally a few steps from a supermarket and pharmacy, with restaurants either side! Would highly recommend.

Great central Ghent location
Great central location for visiting Ghent. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and tidy. Bed was firm and pillows a bit small but sure we could have asked for more. Shower was good. Coffee and water machines on the ground floor were handy. Would happily stay here again.

Really helpful and welcoming staff, they are used to travelers and had people who could speak multiple languages. Was easy to get to from the train station, right in the middle of the downtown area, and extremely clean. The room was a good size and very comfortable. I recommend.

Centrally located in Gent. The staff was very professional and offered 24-hour service. Parking is located just around the corner at a public parking lot for roughly 17 euros for overnight parking. The room was average size, beds were comfortable.

Wonderful stay
This place was amazing! It was so nice inside and super clean. The rooms were a good size and the bed was super comfortable. It’s in a great place if you want to visit Ghent, Bruges, and Brussels as Ghent is an hour away from both Bruges and Brussels.

Book it!
Location just can't be beat. It's perfect to walk the Gent Korenmarkt here and there and everywhere, and then just pop back into the hotel to drop off purchases or swap a jacket. It was quiet, and clean, and is very cutely decorated. They have a great latte machine in the lobby at no charge (there is tea for the non-coffre drinkers) and a water bottle refilling station right beside it; you can enjoy your beverages up in the room or right there in their perfect little lobby sitting area. And probably the best part for me? The bathroom mirrors a a freaking DREAM! They have lights built right in and they look you look absolutely fabulous. I felt like a movie start everytime I walked out of that hotel room :) And that was a pretty great little perk. We've booked in again for the following weekend.

Most hotels I’ve been in have a locked luggage storage where the staff tags and returns the bags. This hotel has paid lockers that can only fit one 24-25” checked bag. Otherwise you can just risk leaving your luggage. Almost all the lockers were full so we could only store 1/2 of our bags. Dust dust and more dust. The spotlights in the room made it very clear how dusty the room was. Not sure why a hotel room would have so much dust in the air. My wife had allergies to all the dust in the room. The room itself was small and basic and adequate for sleeping. It’s really loud outside at night until maybe 12-1AM and the rooms are not soundproof as advertised. You can clearly hear your neighbors door slamming and talking outside your room. The water machine and free freshly ground coffee machine in the lobby was nice, though the trade off was no coffee/tea or kettle in the room. Staff was friendly and nice.

Modern and central
Despite being fairly basic, this was actually one of my favourite hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are compact, but for us the location was worth it as we weren't spending loads of time at the hotel. The shower was excellent, I liked the design of the room (colourful but still relaxing and not too much), and the addition of Chromecast is really great and I hadn't seen that before. In this day and age of Netflix etc, being able to connect to the TV to stream films or series is such a good idea and I really enjoyed this as part of the stay. It was also nice that you can get a free snack/drink in exchange for not having daily room cleaning - win/win all around. Between the location and modern amenities, we would almost certainly stay here again upon returning to Gent.

Good hotel in central Ghent
Smaller hotel in central Ghent - close to tram lines and walkable to historic town centre. Had a wonderful rooftop view and the hotel was extremely quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Would stay again if I came to Ghent

Fantastic service from reception team. Really quiet. Great location for everything inc tram and sightseeing and restaurants. Loved that they encouraged you to be green and reward with vouchers for snacks/drinks.

I was very annoyed to see you Orbitz ,cashed the amount of my booking( 2 bedrooms!) 3 months beforehand ( not the hotel! They told me so..whereas in my previous bookings ( Italy) I paid on my checking-in…It is not fair! BBHotel confirmed they got paid only the day before my arrival..I even insisted and accepted to pay an extra 20€ not to be cashed before arrival.

During our stay at this hotel, we had booked a room where we were presented with a broken ACU (air condition unit); when realizing this, we went to the front desk to confront them with our issue. We were told that the ACU was not controlled in the room but at the front desk, and for us to return to our room and they would adjust the temperature to be cooler. After a couple of hours, the temperature in the room had not changed and remained constant at 27°C (80.6°F). After multiple visits to the front desk (5 times), we were told that ACU was broken, and we requested another room of the same value we booked for. Still, the front desk refused to provide the accommodations and told us we would have to be downgraded without a refund for the experience. This was unacceptable, so we then contacted Expedia, who was extremely helpful and understanding; they reached out to the hotel and got us another room of the same value with a working ACU at no extra expenses. On the last day of our say, while we were cleaning up our belonging and tidying up the room, we noticed the bed had bed bugs. This was utmost disgusting to realize that we were sleeping on a mattress that contain bed bugs. We took the bed bugs, placed them in a bag, and presented it to the front desk. The hotel staff was rude, unaccommodating, and unapologetic throughout our stay. I highly do not recommend this hotel at all; however, I am grateful for Expedia's assistance and will continue to book my travels through them.
