During our stay at this hotel, we had booked a room where we were presented with a broken ACU (air condition unit); when realizing this, we went to the front desk to confront them with our issue. We were told that the ACU was not controlled in the room but at the front desk, and for us to return to our room and they would adjust the temperature to be cooler. After a couple of hours, the temperature in the room had not changed and remained constant at 27°C (80.6°F). After multiple visits to the front desk (5 times), we were told that ACU was broken, and we requested another room of the same value we booked for. Still, the front desk refused to provide the accommodations and told us we would have to be downgraded without a refund for the experience. This was unacceptable, so we then contacted Expedia, who was extremely helpful and understanding; they reached out to the hotel and got us another room of the same value with a working ACU at no extra expenses. On the last day of our say, while we were cleaning up our belonging and tidying up the room, we noticed the bed had bed bugs. This was utmost disgusting to realize that we were sleeping on a mattress that contain bed bugs. We took the bed bugs, placed them in a bag, and presented it to the front desk. The hotel staff was rude, unaccommodating, and unapologetic throughout our stay. I highly do not recommend this hotel at all; however, I am grateful for Expedia's assistance and will continue to book my travels through them.
