"I booked well in advance and was able to get a twin room with balcony for single use at a very good price. The view from the balcony was NOT picturesque, however it faced a side street it was very quiet.  I understand that rooms without balconies face the main road and traffic noise can be a concern.   There was no balcony furniture, so I couldn’t really sit out there unless I pulled the sizeable desk chair out.  The room was a good size and didn’t feel claustrophobic at all.  The bathroom was...

"This was a nice hotel in the centre of town, very close to bars/restaurants and the beach. Beds were comfy, room was clean and staff were very helpful. Unfortunately there was an electricity blackout overnight, out of the hotel's hands, but they did their very best to work around it especially at breakfast time. 5 stars to the staff for handling that difficult situation."

"I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!"

"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. "Personnl courtois. La femme de menage vous appelle pendant la sieste pour vous demander si elle peut passer. C'est quoi l'intérêt de mettre une affiche "pas déranger " sur la porte? La chambre donne " sur le golfe " certes mais aussi sur la route et par moment c'est bruyant. Lampe de chevet arrachée du mur. Piscine géniale mais une curiosité à savoir des rallonges électriques étalées sur plusieurs mètres. En France c'est totalement interdit. "
