"I booked this property pretty close to the last minute and had low expectations. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. There was good shower pressure with plenty of hot water. We expected road noise, due to location, but otherwise had a quiet stay, and the noise machine blocked out the highway sounds. I took off one star for value. "The Gibson Inn is a beautifully restored mansion. The furnishings are antiques and the room was quiet and comfortable overlooking a nicely landscaped garden. They do not serve breakast but provide vouchers for breakfast at two locations. There is a complementary EV Car Charger on the premises which worked flawlessly and was one of the key drivers for choosing this location."

"Check-in was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and went above expectations during each interaction! Room was clean and cozy with a nice little kitchenette. I liked the community grill area in the courtyard. Alot of folks seemed to use that space to cook and everyone was just kinda vibing! For the price and compared to the prices of everything else in Jackson, this place was a steal! Will stay again. Thanks"

"The room appeared to be newly renovated, which was nice. However, it did have maybe like a paint smell or some type of chemical smell to it… Also the bottom of the shower was not cleaned, as there were dirt from maybe shoes and also some hair strands, so I knew it hadn’t be cleaned. The staff did come our 2nd day there, made the bed, replenished towels, and the sample size soap/shampoo/conditioner. The outdoor property grounds were appealing and well maintained."
