Amazing stay!!!!!

We had an amazing stay at The Views Monumental, the staff were very helpful, they always clean our rooms early, breakfast was good and the pool and views on the balcony was great. It’s location is the best, close to bus stop and lots of restaurants around!

Brilliant

Absolutely brilliant, stayed in a suite they upgraded our family to a room next door to us. Also because it was there wedding anniversary they left completely a bottle of champagne, cheese and biscuits in their room. Breakfast was super anything you required was there, defo recommend also the spa was excellent

Nice common areas (e.g. pool area), great staff at reception. Unfortunately, room on 5th floor was damp and smelled like mold. Stayed only one night so I did not request to change rooms (which may have been possible).

We enjoyed our stay at the Four Views Monumental. The pools were great. Our room was clean and more spacious than we expected, however the air-conditioning was unreliable. The shower in our room could benefit from a little renovation, however it still got the job done. Please note, safes are available, but there is a daily fee to use them. We were there for 4 days and only once did we have an issue with the parking lot being full, which meant we had to wait until there was an open spot to park. The location was super convenient for us and very walkable.

Beautiful hotel, great water view from our room, very clean and a super breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the swimming pool many times, and walks into town. Staff were very helpful when required. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Parkmöglichkeiten sind ein öffentliches Parkhaus - dieses ist kostenlos für Hotelgäste allerdings gibt es keine Garantie einen Parkplatz zu finden. Leider wurde uns zusätzlich am letzten Tag das Mietauto zerkratzt (mit einem Schlüssel) Hotelzimmer ist ausreichend, sauber, MA freuntlich. Leider entspricht die gebuchte Kategorie Bergblick keinem wirklichen schönen Bergblick. die Etagen gehen eher zur Straße raus. Vom Berg sieht man nicht viel. Etage 5 hat sogar aktuell direkt eine Baustelle vor der Tür. Pool Anlage & Sauna super schön und ein tolles kostenfreies Angebot - Ein Minus Punkt - keine kostenfreien Handtücher zusätzlich bekommt man Poolhandtücher aber: Tauschgebür 1 € je tausch /handtuch Lage für Ausflüge mit dem Mietauto als Ausgangspunkt gut gelegen Frühstück große ausreichende Auswahl schönes nachhaltiges Angebot - man kann sich beim Check in aussuchen wie oft sein Zimmer gereinigt wird. Für Tage an dem man keine Reinigung möchte bekommt man 3€ die man zum Verzehr im Hotel einsetzen kann.

Hotel was clean was sufficient for all our needs. Big breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good location for us to go out and about for the day. Not a luxury hotel but it was fine for what we were not using the hotel for. We were not there for the amenities such as pool etc.

We just stayed here for one night before moving to our Air BnB. The location is really good for access to restaurants and shops and the main sites in Funchal. The pool was great for our children. We had a long wait between arriving and checking in but were able to use the facilities whilst we waited. Our room was a little dated but had a good shower and comfy beds. We slept really well in quiet rooms. The view was good but I think as a family we would have struggled to stay in the apartment we had all week. Breakfast was really a highlight which was varied and included in the cost of our stay. We probably wouldn’t stay here again but for a couple of nights it’s very convenient and well priced.
