Good spot, good room, maybe just a bit too noisy for me. They do leave ear plugs for you though. It’s not the area, it’s everyone coming in and out.

This property was utterly beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and the place itself was gorgeous and so clean. Our bed was massive and we had a fabulous wet room. There was enough basics for you to cook, if required - pans, toaster, hob, kettle and caffè tier, as well as a fridge. Our cleaner was a wonderful character, who brought us fruit from her garden and the breakfast chef, accommodated us so well as vegans- baking vg cookies and providing us with the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel. The owners are currently building a restaurant, as well. The outdoor, rooftop garden was so relaxing with ‘out of these world’ views over the city skyline. The location was really convenient for shops, walking to the see front and eateries, as well as sites of interest. Our all time favourite mini break and we are planning to return next year.

Merveilleux 😍

Emplacement nickel pour visiter Funchal, à proximité de toutes commodités. Logement impeccable, ménage fait tous les jours et draps et serviettes changés à la demande. Gel douche et shampoing sur place. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le service de petit déjeuner. Hôtes réactifs. Nous recommandons ++ ce logement et reviendrons avec grand plaisir

It was a lovely room with a balcony overlooking a garden. The floors were lovely wooden ones with high ceilings. Nice little kitchen well equipped and very comfortable beds.

STANZA SPORCA E LENZUOLA SPORCHE

La nostra permanenza (per fortuna di 1 sola notte) è stato un incubo. La stanza era sporca, i cuscini (che tra l'altro non abbiamo nemmeno trovato sul letto ma all'interno di un armadio uno sopra l'altro) erano sporchi di sudore di altre persone con attaccati i relativi capelli; il bagno era sporco, così come gli asciugamani. Siamo arrivati tardi quella sera e non abbiamo potuto parlare di persona con i proprietari che ci avevano solo aperto dal citofono e ci avevano lasciato le chiavi in camera, altrimenti glielo avremmo rimproverato. La mattina seguente siamo andati via prestissimo e non abbiamo fatto in tempo a vederli (era una stanza pre-pagata). Sconsigliassimo!

Very convenient location near central Funchal, shopping centre, bus connections and restaurants. There is not a lot of facilities on the hotel, but as we were mainly interested in a place with kitchen and bed for the night and a couple of hours resting once in a while, we were very satisfied with this place. It is basic, yet clean, and everything works! We were assigned an incorrect room, and thus had to move half way through our stay. They were apologizing a lot for this circumstance, and therefore assigned us a larger room than we paid for, and free breakfast. Small but convenient kitchens enabling to do a little cooking yourself. The hotel-breakfast had a fair variety of items when taking the price into consideration, but it was a little boring with dry bread, and very hard boiled eggs. We enjoyed preparing our breakfast in the room instead, and eating on our sunny balcony. Btw, once in a while they ran out of warm water for the shower.

Great appartment in center funchal

Cute and cozy little appartment in the centre od fuchal with all the ameneties needed for a short stay. Recommend this for younger or single travelers. Area with alot of movement.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, nahe am Zentrum von Funchal

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist schon etwas alt aber sauber. Die Lage zur Strasse war nicht gut, es war sehr laut. Der Frühstücksraum ist im Keller, ungemütlich. Das Angebot zum Frühstück war gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Prsonál byl milý, extrémně nápomocen řešit vše co bylo potřeba. Radil i co podniknout. Jedinou vadou byla nefunkčnost internetu na pokoji-když se přiślo na recepci, fungoval bezvadně. Pokud se týče snídani byly vždy čerstvé ale byly stále stejné-cereálie, croissanty, sladký dort/roláda, šunka, sýr a máslo. Výběr čajů, káva(v termosce), voda a džus. Za espresso(Nespresso) příplatek 1€.

Zentrale Lage, super zu Fuß unterwegs sein

Alt, aber dennoch gut erhalten, leider war es sehr sehr heiß im Zimmer und ohne Klima. Bis um 2 Uhr morgens ca 30° im Zimmer gehabt. Waren jedoch nur eine Nacht und es hätte sich sicher auch eine Lösung finden lassen.

Très agréable séjour

Nous sommes arrivés tres tard vers 1h du matin sous une forte pluie,et sommes agréablement surprises d'etre accompagnés jusqu'à notre studio qui se trouve à 20m.L'endroit est bien situé par rapport au centre ,les informations sur les lieux à visiter sont indéniablement utiles.La chambre est bien entretenue,ménage tous les jours et le petit déjeuner est un plus Nous nous sentons vraiment indépendants . Personnel fiable Tres bon rapport qualité/prix

Great location, good wifi, very noisy rooms due to ?staff banging the heavy wooden doors, advertised as self-catered but no bowls to eat in, would be nice if basic condiments e.g. sugar for tea were available.
