"Our stay at the Sommerro was five stars! From the minute, we walked in and checked in Thomas was extremely helpful and kind. The amenities are out of this world with the pool and the sauna, and the breakfast is superb as it has everything you could ever wish for on the bugfet. I would highly recommend this hotel for a very relaxing stay."

"The check in process was basically a fight.
We were out in the street trying to get the access code for more than 1/2 an hour. Finally another guest let us in. The hotel tech guy would not give us the code.
Unbelievably bad experience after a 20 hour journey.
We asked repeatedly before leyhome and during the flight for the code. They confirmed we had paid but would not give us the code.
The guest that let us in had the same experience!
Terrible hotel !"

"It’s a lovely self contained apartment in the beautiful area of Frogner. Which is a 20-30 min walk to the city centre or buses or trams are nearby. The apartment is spacious and plenty of hanging space and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The toiletries provided are L’occitane. The only problem was the electricity tripped on the first night. So I was in darkness til the morning. There is a helpline number which goes to a voicemail and reception responded early the next morning. But ideally...

"The location was great. The check-in process was not good. We follow the instructions and the automated system was in Norwegian and we couldn’t understand what it was telling us. Thanks to a guest of the hotel who helped us get through the front door so we could check-in. Also the confirmation of the booking indicated that there would be breakfast delivered to our room, but nothing came for both mornings that we stayed. The room was good, but the bathroom was very hot and tiny."
