"Nice rec area for all ages. The cold water in bathroom faucet had hardly any water and the heater in the room didn't work, only cool air. Breakfast was decent."

"The facility was dated, bathroom was so-so. Food selection was so-so. There was no coffee maker in the room, so my day started off less than optimal. The coffee available in the breakfast room was very dilute. Overall very disappointing compared to my previous experiences with Holiday Inn Express facilities."

"One of our favorite places to stay on our way through Michigan. Front staff are VERY friendly and VERY helpful. Property and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is better than most other places with scrambled eggs (not clear if box mix or just well scrambled), bacon strips (processed, but real meat), oatmeal, several choices of cereals, fresh bananas/apples, yogurt, waffles, and breads/toast. Pool is nice, but too small for swimming. Did not try hot tub, but looked nice. Rooms have very high ceilings and the usual amenities, but two common problems: 1) double queen rooms have a centre table for charging phones, but nothing on the other two sides. 2) The intermittently flashing "ready" light on the smoke detector is eyelid-piercingly bright white for no sensible reason (a dim solid green would be just as effective), so bring eyeshades."
