"This is an old brick building that is decorated from the turn of the century. Common rooms as you pass from floor to floor and wind through the building. Very cozy and interesting. And you step right out to Main Street and the bay. We would highly reccomend The Palace as a unique and fun experience."

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. "It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. "Photos online are beautiful, concept is cool, but in person details reveal gaps. Beautiful view, but with no screens in the windows or sliding door ALL of the bugs come into the room. Gross. This means no smelling or listening to the bay, which defeats the purpose of securing this king suite. Huge jacuzzi style tub in the room, but after adding an inch of hot water and letting stand for a few minutes before filling, I found floaters. So the tub wasn’t clean. Gross. "The main complaint was the outlets. They would not hold our plugs for charging our devices. I realize Port Townsend is a resort/tourist town but $200/ night for this place seems a bit high for really NO amenities. Enjoyed the town though!"

"The room was a very nice surprise. Great condition and clean! What a great view, right on the water! Location was perfect for dining and shopping, and a whale watch tour in Puget Sound! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Sand on top of both beds. I think they need to wash the green plaid blankets that are at the end of the beds as I think that’s where the sand is coming from. Other than the sand in our beds, the resort is charming."

"Outside area was really dirty and mangy scroungy mats of flower pots were full of weeds Just not maintained. Room was okay bed was really noisy cuz they had some kind of plastic bed cover on the bed I guess The shower was horrible to say the least you couldn't move the shower head and we had hardly any pressure and warm water. "It was beautiful! View outstanding. The pictures you have need to be updated. The outside looks nothing like the photos. Overgrown- weeds by the front door area and so much sand. Cliff we can tell has been slowly eroding. Next door the neighbors are loosing their yard. Your yard the fence dangerous. I would not have any children in yard. grassy and things including old tables and wire fencing laying around. Deck falling apart. Lots of sand- we understand but none cleaned up. "Air conditioner filter was moldy, uncomfortable bed, creaky floors, toilet was not clean, human hair on sheets and pillows, road noise was horrendous, had to climb staircase to second floor. you have been warned"

"Loved this place. Very clean , but staff very friendly and accommodating . The bed sheets smelled so clean and breakfast was very good . Would highly recommend to anyone to stay at this Inn ."
