I stayed here because of the separate bedrooms and free breakfast.. I've stayed in over a hundred hotels.. and this breakfast is the saddest thing I've seen offered at a hotel.. old and cold French toast in a Ziploc bag.. nothing hot. This is ridiculous..

Lots of room in the two-bedroom suite. Everything was clean and well maintained. Great location in what I assume is downtown 😊 Lots of places to walk for food or other essentials. Easy to get off Hwy 63 and in. Underground parkade is a definite plus.

The person on the third floor, above me, walked around heavily and frequently, so that the glass in the lamp shades clattered, until almost midnight. Spoilt the entire experience.

Front desk staff was amazing. I was there as my brother passed away unexpectedly and they allowed me to check in early and gave hugs. This is the place to stay if your in Fort McMurray

Clean, very friendly staff. The a/c heater unit was so noisy when it kicked in, it woke us up. Also, there were no stands to put your suitcase on.

This property is fairly new and modern. The suites are very large. My room was good other than the kitchenette had barely any thing to cook with and there was no dishwashing towels to wash dishes. It appeared as though they just put a bunch of mismatched, hodge podge kitchen tools in with out much thought as to how they could be useful. Other than that the room was good. The hotel itself was not great. The reception desk is on the second floor (very strange). You never interact with the hotel staff unless you go directly to the second floor. This also means the front entrance is always locked and your room key is supposed to open it. That did not ever happen for me. I had to buzz upstairs and then they would unlock the door. They never asked who it was who was buzzing in and would just open the door. This is a bit of a safety concern for me. Another issue was there is no gym in the building. I work out a lot and expected some form of a fitness area. There was nothing. Lastly, when I booked, it said "complimentary breakfast" it did not say "continental breakfast" so I was surprised and not very happy when I went to go for breakfast and 1). It was a carb only breakfast and 2) it was to go only, using tons of containers and bags. If I had known, I would have brought other food (eggs, bacon, etc) to cook in my ill-appointed kitchenette. It was disappointing as I typically stay at the Franklin Suites in Fort Mac and the breakfast is hot and variety. Doubt I'll stay here again.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room. We were expecting a 1 bedroom with mini kitchen receive a 2 bedroom with full kitchen, 2 baths and a sitting room. Staff was very pleasant. Would stay again. Amazing bang for our buck!

The suite I was in was really nice. It was well lit and very clean. I appreciated having the cooking facilities. The only downside of my stay was that I did not know before I booked that there were renovations happening and that I would have to walk through that everyday. In saying that, it did not bother me too much. I just would have liked to know before I arrived.

We stayed with children, they loved the room, it was a convienant location. The beds were too firm for my preference but overall i enjoyed the hotel. The front desk clerk was super friendly and we enjoyed our hotel experience.

Trip was not good i was put into a room with the next room getting work done to it after 4 hours of liesting to the banging i had to ask to be moved i needed to get wirk dine not soend hours trying to rest and get distracted after i asked to be moved i got a room with a broken glass top stove when showed the front desk this issue they said they new and it was ok no i almost cut my hand after all that the wifi kept goin out for 30 mins or more 4 times finaly i gave up and went to bed i would not recommend this hotel to anyone i should never been put into a room with none stop construction goin on in the next room very unhappy i feel i waisted 145$

Winter? there is a heated garage!
This is an unusual, but excellent place. I booked this for the price, but it is much more. The first thing I noticed was there was not much parking, walk in the door, no reception, wait it’s on second floor. Reception was nice, they give me the key card, and tell me to drive around block as parking was in a heated garage below the hotel. It’s winter, 18• F, vehicle is covered with ice and snow and can park in a heated garage. Go to the room, open the door it’s a long hallway, see a full size fridge, and a two burner stove. Where are the beds? There are two bedrooms? There are two bathrooms! Also a sitting area, 3 tv’s, and a balcony. I guess I should read the info more, I booked because of total price, didn’t realize it had all these features. Geat place to stay, friendly staff, great room. Had magic heat, not sure how it was heated but maintained consistent temp in cold temperatures, never saw a radiator. Did I saw this was a great place.

The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Check in and out is efficient and I always enjoy staying here. Location is perfect for restaurants and a grocery store to take advantage of using the kitchen.
