"Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "A noisy out dated hotel, which is connected to the Porto hotel next door. Good location & a decent varied breakfast, but take your own tea bags if you want an English cuppa, as they only have flavoured teas. A kettle would have been useful in the room too. The bed was comfortable although very creeky. You can hear everything outside & in the rooms next door. There were weird pumping noises from somewhere within the premises at midnight & early in the morning, plus a man talking loudly outside in their grounds at 5.30am. Didn’t make for a pleasant stay. Would not stay there sgain."
