"Really enjoyed our stop at The Hill - staff upgraded us to the main building (didn't realize i booked us into the cottages by mistake) and was very pleasant. Room was fine - a little small with an odd door out the bathroom to the patio - but was cute and cozy. Restaurant staff was nice and the girl at the front was really friendly and welcoming. "

"Dirty toilet and shower, fungus in bathroom ceiling, card payment didnt go through, place is old, small beds otherwise nice and spacious with a great view."

"The owner of the property is very nice. We didn’t expect that we would get free waffles in the morning. She also gave us many advices to explore the surrounding area. We learned a lot about the culture, the society and the folks of Iceland through the communication with her."

"Check in was clunky. You needed to call to get a code, but the confirmation email had one incorrect and one correct number. The free phone in the building listed the correct number but no one answered after numerous attempts. Finally emailed both listed emails to get a response.
Whole building smelled like petroleum.
Room was run down, but fairly clean and safe.
Bathrooms were also rundown.
Kitchen had basics, but don’t expect anything besides free water."

"Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous and shower was amazing. Location was beautiful. Hot tub very clean. Hosts were amazing with answering any questions we had. We were lost and they were very kind helping us find where to go. "

"What an excellent place to stay — warm, spacious, cosy, clean, and well equipped! We enjoyed the guesthouse very much. The elderly lady who welcomed us was extremely kind and courteous.
Our only regret is that we stayed for just one night. We wish the owner all the best and 1000% recommend this place! Thanks a lot!"
