"The location was good, tram access from the train station was not far and easy. Amenities and gym was great. Main issue was the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear the noise from outside and the people upstairs were so heavy footed."

"The room was clean, however the shutters were difficult to open leaving the room dark for the duration of our stay. The staff were ok we didn't really have much to do with them Breakfast was ok, however some fresh cut fruit rather than a fruit salad would have been nicer. Good selection of hot and cold foods. The air-conditioning is excellent it kept the room comfortable for our whole stay. We loved that there was an old fashioned key to open our room door. Overall it was a good stay."

"While the staff was wonderful and helpful, there were some issue with the room. The bed was very uncomfortable as the “mattress” was extremely thin and therefore made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the house keeping did not restock items in the room, such as creamer, etc, which didn’t allow me to enjoy the terrace with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning."

"Definitely will return. The staff was so helpful in communicating before our trip like offering to schedule car service and local events. We had a large group and we enjoyed the excellent breakfast to start our day!"

"Once you get to the property the staff were all wonderful but the communication prior to arrival was none no answers to any of my questions through Expedia. The city bus is across the street takes you into Florence for 2 euros but make sure you validate your ticket front of bus to avoid a hefty fine. I loved that we could cook breakfast before heading out and there is a grocery store onsite."

"Beautiful property. The restaurant and breakfast are great. Rooms are cozy and quaint. To consider there shuttle is only to get you to the bridge and walk or cab from there to wherever you’re going. It’s the distance from places such as stores restaurants be prepared for any extra needs of expenses such as bottled water or snacks. Make sure the wine card you prepay for self serve you return for credit it’s $10 a glass and it’s about three sips. But beautiful place and great for quiet and privacy."
