A long walk

The b&b is not situated in the nicest area (although not the worst either). As there was road works all around the only option was to walk, both to the railway station (15 minutes) and city center (30-45 minutes). The room was large, but the walls and the door very thin, so you could hear your neighbours (there are same kind of establishments on the other floors of the building). Only restaurant nearby is a sushi place, to nearest trattoria is 15 minutes walk. The price is expensive compared with what you get for the same sum in e g Siena and Rome.

Great private room with breakfast daily provided to room. Cleaned daily. Location isn't in historic centre of Florence but all the must see sights are easily accessible by foot (20mins max walk)

Lovely BnB

Very nice BnB. Clean and comfy, helpful staff. A bit from city center but there were many buses we could take.There were some nice restaurants in the area, cheeper than in the city center. We really enjoyed our stay.

B&B für kurzen Städtetrip

Ein sehr nettes kleines (ca. 6 Zimmer) Bed & Breakfest in der Nähe zum Bahnhof Santa Maria Novella. Es liegt direkt an einer größeren Straße, dennoch ist vom Verkehr fast nichts zu hören. Zu Fuß ist der Bahnhof in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen, zur Ponte Vecchio sind es ca. 25 Minuten. Wer nicht so viel laufen möchte kann einfach in der nächsten Straße ums Eck einen Bus nehmen. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, funktional jedoch sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Hier und da sind ein paar Schönheitsreperaturen nötig und der Fernseher empfängt kein Deutsches Programm (falls dies jemanden wichtig sein sollte). Das Frühstück wird aufgrund eines fehlenden Frühstückraumes immer am Vortag für den nächsten Morgen im Zimmer hergerichtet. Wann bekommt man schon Frühstück ans Bett?! Das Frühstück fällt leider sehr süß aus, 1 Crossaint, Zwieback, Marmelade und Nutella. Es ist ein Wasserkocher vorhanden um Tee zuzubereiten und Kaffe(1 pro Tag/Person) gibt es draußen im Flur am Automaten. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit.

L'hôtel est a vingt min a pied du centre ville, dix minutes a pied de la gare piazza novella. Quelques bus emmènent a la gare. Le gérant Matteo facilite le séjour ce qui est appréciable si l'agenda est chargé! L'hôtel est pratique et bien situé pour un weekend. La sdb est propre et les serviettes fournies. Attention aux moustiques qui prennent position depuis lascenseur jusqu'à ce qu'il s'écrasent sur les rideaux... Petit bémol toutefois: le breakfast très très sommaire. Déposé dans la chambre la veille, 2 biscottes et un croissant industriel par pers et un verre de café a la machine ds le couloir. Pas très convivial...ni consistant! Ce n'est pas un b&b classique chez l'habitant .dommage

Great location, Good price, No fuss

Antiche Armonie is a short 5 minute walk to the Florence SMN station, from which it is possible to walk to all the different sights of Florence and tourist information. It was close enough yet was in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noise on the streets when we needed to catch some good rest. Alessio was a hospitable host who briefed us on directions to the sights and places for food. The price was great too. This B&B offered way better service, and rooms, and comfort than more expensive hotels on messy streets. I will definitely recommend Antiche Armonie to others who wish to visit Florence.
