Everything went well. It is a very calm relaxing area. The cost is reasonable considering the location is an hour drive from the nearest town. Most of the drive is a single gravel road next to water which is beautiful but it would be a little scary in the dark. Overall a solid place!

It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords.

The smell is terrible. The bunk bed is terrible as well and it is overpriced. Hard to get to, but that was not an issue. The issue is that everything is outdated and it was very expensive for what she offered.

Habitación con cocina y baños compartidos. Instalaciones correctas. Camas cómodas. Al sitio se accede a través de una carretera de grava que solo va allí. Tardas en llegar como una hora por la carretera de grava, y lo mismo en salir. La cocina está bien equipada. Los aseos limpios. Ls moqueta, con algunas manchas, pero sin olores. Ofrecen toallas por un precio de unos 5€ (el único alojamiento de los que fui que no eran gratuitas). El entorno, como en toda Islandia. Precioso. No volvería. No merece la pena el trayecto por la grava. El peor alojamiento en el que estuve.

Delusione in un luogo naturalmente magnifico

Esperienza negativa soprattutto perché al momento della prenotazione non erano state comunicate le effettive condizioni per raggiungere la guesthouse cioè 30 km di strada sterrata con passaggi complicati. Le condizioni della struttura molto deludente con moquette poco pulita e lenzuola e asciugamano con pagamento a parte. Nemmeno una bustina di te per farsi qualcosa di caldo. Assistenza solo in fase di check in. Luogo dal punto di vista naturale comunque magnifico ma scarsa trasparenza sulle reali condizioni.
