A place to stay in Maldives

The place was well kept; the water villa we stayed was excellent maintained; two specialty restaurants provided real fine dining experiences and the food were beyond expected;buffet breakfast was ok and all the employees there were always ready to assist the guests ; the only issue was we had to take a local flight from the international airport to the local airport which took about 50 minutes, the travel time was not the issue because most resorts (99%) needed to be transfer to, we had a flight from Maldives to Dubai at 11 am , we needed to check out at 4 am in order to catch our international flight, having said that, the resort did the very best to accommodate us which I totally agreed and understood , overall, I would recommend this resort to anyone who likes to explore and experience the natural beauty of Maldives!

Perfect holiday

We were staying in a overwater pool villa, and our stay was perfect. The resort is so beautiful. Staff were all extremely polite and professional. Food was excellent. The only down side is the location of the resort which is another half day of travel from Male but it was worth it.

Customer service was great, everyone was super friendly and were always making sure we were not missing anything. What probably took this away the opportunity for becoming a 10/10, is the cockroaches at the room….for multiple days we found small cockroaches all over the room (the bathroom…the shower, even our bed). Even some friends we made at the hotel, later told us that they had the same situation (these were overwater villas). We let the front desk know and they said they were going to put poison in the room, but these just kept showing up…

部屋はとても清潔で綺麗で、眺めも最高、サービスも素晴らしかったです。唯一難点を挙げるとしたら、自転車での移動が大変だったことぐらいです。突然のスコールがあるので避難をするのに苦労しましたが、まあそれもリゾートの醍醐味だと思えば楽しめました。

Resort lussuoso e molto curato in tutto e per tutto. Le ville sull’acqua sono stupende, specialmente quelle con piscina e lato sunset (numeri 300) Attenzione che esiste lo stesso resort anche nell’isola di Dhigurah, ma è di qualità inferiore e più di massa. Lo sconsiglio. Quello dell’isola di Falhumaafushi è sicuramente più chic, elegante ed esclusivo. Lo raccomando vivamente. Una nota di merito speciale va al ristorante gourmet Falumaah con al sua cucina francese eccellente. In ogni caso a Falhumaafushi il servizio è sempre eccellente e sono tutti pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi desiderio del cliente, anche il più bizzarro. L’arredo delle ville è curatissimo e non mancano pezzi di ottimo design italiano. La cucina è eccellente anche al Beach Bar così come i suoi cocktail perfetti. Insomma è tutto perfetto, ma se qualcosa non vi piace la cambieranno apposta per voi a vostro piacimento. Bellissima esperienza. Unica pecca: è molto distante da Malè quindi non si può raggiungere con idrovolante, ma con volo interno normale. Peccato. Per il resto davvero eccellente.

It was way overcrowded and they seemed understaffed . You have to book for everything . The buggy service is horrible it takes 15-20 minutes and then takes 10 minutes to arrive . Some staff members were rude . Food was way overpriced .

Our stay at The Residence Maldives was beyond any expectations! All service was excellent, food was delicious and Covid precautions were taken seriously enough, including the possibility to take a pre-departure test. The Residence offers amazing treatments and massages. I can recommend the Clarins Serenity ritual. Me and partner tried this ritual and we were super happy with it - very relaxing massage and facial. We also recommend having a dinner at the Falhuma restaurant, which is situated at a deck which is lays over the ocean and you can watch waves in the distance while enjoying great food and service. Villas were clean and had all we needed. We were moved from Falhuma island to Dhigurah due to less guests during covid. By being moved, we got a villa with a nice pool, where originaly we had booked a villa without a pool. This was a great bonus which we appreciated very much. Also try complimentary yoga class in the evening, if you fancy a stretch, the yoga master could recognize our limits very well and adjusted the exercise so that we won't die at the end :-) (we're complete beginners, so don't worry about your level, anyone can enjoy this class). We also saw many turtles during our snorchling and scuba diving trips, amazing marine life! We could also see some trouble making guests around and the staff was dealing with all situations in a great way. Big thank you to all staff that was taking care of us during our stay, they were all super sweet and professional.
