"It was a lovely family friendly hotel.Nestled amid the mountains it had serene calm stunning viewsand traditional rooms.Rooms were very clean,good breakfast.There was ample parking space.The town was not far which had different options to eat.

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "
"Very nice stay in this hotel. Closer to the bus stop (last before the Titlis Cable Car Bahn) than the carpark is to the Titlis Bahn.
Good breakfast both continental and cooked; fresh baked/cooked egg options.

Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das überaus zuvorkommende Personal, das jeden unserer Wünsche erfüllt hat – egal, wie klein oder gross. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau gelebt. "We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "
"The breakfast/lunch to go package was very nice for the price. Very handy to take on our trips our for the day. In the kitchen area they need to label more of the drawers and cabinets. Had to literally open every one to find the garbage. Label in multiple languages. "

"Situé à Meiringen, l'hôtel profite d'un emplacement idéal pour les gorges de l'Aar et les cascades avoisinantes. L'intérêt pour Sherlock dans cet hôtel est minime. L'accueil est bien mais ne comptait pas trop parler anglais. Comme partout en Suisse Allemanique c'est cher mais bien Situé. "
