"Great location right outside of Luray for an affordable price. Very quiet and easy to check in. We called and got our door code and we were in earlier than our check-in time. The rooms had clearly been remodeled recently with updated flooring, paint, furniture, etc. The sheets and towels were lacking though. It doesn't seem like they upgraded the towels since they upgraded the rooms. Very thin, very small. The door that connected to another room had a very wobbly doorknob which made it feel...

"Clean and quiet property. Beautiful views. Close to the caverns and downtown Luray. Short drive to the National Park. Pool wasn't open yet, but looked clean with plenty of chairs. No frills, but that's okay. I was looking for a clean, safe, quiet place to stay to go hiking, not to hang out at the hotel. Brought my own Kurig for my room and muffins & protein bars for breakfast. Nice staff. Shiva was nice and let me keep my car in the lot after checkout while we took our other car to the trails...

"This is a beautiful old hotel. The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. We stayed in the Theodore Roosevelt room, which was lovely with a sitting room. My only complaint was that the couch and chair were not usable. They were extremely uncomfortable., so we didnt really get to enjoy the sitting room."

I read the reviews before and they gave bad impressions. the price for the room on a weekend's night was too much. we decided to stay here because of its location which saved us plenty of time driving up and down the mountains. however, after checking in, the room was much better than expected. it was quite clean. there was a big screen tv and a heater that worked well. neighbors were nice so i couldn't hear any noise at night. the staff was so-so in terms of helpfulness....

"I would say if you want a very comfortable stay nice bed good TV friendly place you found it , it is not ritzy it is plain super clean nice size room great location friendly staff I paid twice as much at a Quality Inn and it was a dump. I was traveling and used this as a center to visit the area "

"Rooms were recently renovated but there's still some features in the bathroom and shower walls showing disrepair. Rooms were overall clean but some parts next to the AC unit were dusty. Breakfast is not included"
