Front desk staff was very friendly. It is conveniently located by restaurants. Rooms lacked insulation from noise in neighboring rooms and hallway, which kept me from sleeping well. Breakfast was very disappointing, so I wouldn’t factor that in when considering price.

It's a nice hotel but the shower drain was horrible. Definitely need more then 1 small elevator. Parking isn't great but it's free. Rooms are fairly quiet for it being so close to the highway.

A lot of loud noise from othrer guests slamming doors etc. There was some paper debris in the elevator and in the hall on the floor. I know it’s off season but the pool area was really dirty. The staff was both friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good in terms of selections and taste. The elevator and hallway floor had been picked up this morning.

Staff Deserve 5 Stars/ Hotel Itself Does Not

The staff at this Holiday Inn Express were absolutely wonderful: kind, attentive, and quick to respond when issues arose. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself left much to be desired. When we checked in late at night, I discovered the next morning that the shower in our room was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. I had to wear flip-flops just to shower. I immediately reported it, shared photos I took, and the maintenance staff quickly confirmed the problem and moved us to a different room. The second room was much cleaner, but it had a very strong, unpleasant odor. It was like damp, molding socks that had been aged for years. While I chose not to complain again since the room appeared clean, the smell was overwhelming and clearly points to a deeper issue. The carpets or AC units on the third floor may need a thorough cleaning and inspection.Maybe dehumidifiers? Overall, I gave three stars because the staff did everything they could to make our stay better, but the property itself is in need of serious attention. I nearly booked another hotel for our last night despite already having paid, which is not something I’ve ever considered at a Holiday Inn Express before.

Pretty decent

Just could use a little spruce up. Paint job in our room was bad along with clear water damage; something splashed on the headboard and the phone and not cleaned. Corroded toilet flush. Employees were lovely, we were there for a funeral and everyone greeted us as we came in and was very friendly.
