Comfortable bed, free coffee, great location. On arrival reception area smelt of cat urine also, throughout stay very low water pressure. Walls are paperthin meaning you can hear other quests in their rooms. The communal area was very noisy most evening and early morings. You will need earplugs as overnight there are dogs barking.AC works but very VERY noisy, we had to turn it off at night as you could hear it through ear plugs.We booked a week here and were asked to move rooms after 5 nights for some unexplained reason. We had a ground floor room initially and could hear guests above dragging furniture anout at all hours. Would not recommend staying unless no where else is free and you have decent ear plus/defenders to ensure sleep. Not a great experience for us.

So at first, I was a little disappointed, as my room didn’t have hot water, but after a while this place started to grow on me. I mean it is three stars not five, but it is still a solid stay when all the rooms in El NIDO are booked. The staff was particularly helpful and friendly I also thought that the courtyard, with an onsite snack shop was particularly charming.if I returned to El NIDO, I can’t say as this would be my fist choice, but at the same time, I could do much worse.

Nice if it wasn’t for the electricity
Nice and cozy place with friendly staff. However the electricity was out during our whole stay so it got extremely warm in the room.

Smells too bad. Not clean enough
If you enjoy smelling the smell of human waste stay here. You walk in on an unsafe boardwalk of rotten timbers over an open sewer. You cant get away from this smell. Add to that the room smelled of mould. More attention to cleaning would help. Staff were friendly. I am sure many places in el nido much worse than this though.

Spend more on where you sleep in El Nido
Please prepare yourself with a lot of bug spray. Many spiders and bugs & ants in the room. No kids should stay in such a place.

Överlag bra
Hotellet var överlag bra, rent och trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Det enda som går att klaga på är att vattentrycket i duschen är obefintligt och ACn på rummet är väldigt högljudd vilket gör att det blir svårt att sova med den på.

Don’t stay herr
Do not stay here, way to the hotel is a canal which smells & lots of mosquitoes. No hot shower & it smells.

Nöjd
Fantastiskt trevlig personal som tog emot oss och hjälpte till med myggnät samt spraya rummet med insektsmedel. Hemmakänsla I boendet. Detta är ett perfekt boende för par som är på resande fot genom palawan och som behöver boende under några nätter. Sängen hade kunnat vara skönare, AC fungerade som den skulle, toaletten något litet men helt okej med tanke på priset. Nära till gågatan med stort urval av restauranger. Helt godkänt och rekommenderas för priset.

宿には水路の上を歩いて行く必要があるのですがその水が異常に汚い。その近くの井戸から水を汲み上げていると考えるとちょっと怖かったです。また猫がうようよいますので猫嫌いの人はやめたほうが良いと思います。スタッフは感じがいいですのでその点は評価できます。

You get what you paid for. Very basic accommodation. A practical choice since you’ll be touring all day. If you only need a place to leave your things and sleep for the night and save up, this is the place for you. The AC is very good. Rare you see a pension house that will give you chills if you full-blast the AC. I will rate that 5/5. A minor setback on the water supply when we came in but nothing that wasn’t remedied right away. I also like it that they offer free coffee (although instant ones) but nevertheless, it’s free. I like it that they put their hot-water dispenser where it is accessible to everyone. For those cup-noodles breakfast that you plan to have when you come over, go for it. The staffs were nice and easy to talk to and will give you a much easier time to book your tours with them. No hassle at all. The place is clean with a home-style feel. Just really be mindful on the way in as the place comes in an old foot bridge made of wood with lots of missing parts with the drainage below it. My daughter even stepped on one of those missing parts luckily she wasn’t hurt that bad. When I go back to El Nido, I will personally choose this again for it’s affordability and proximity to the rest of your needs in the area.

The only downside is the way going to the pension house because it is not cemented. It can be scary the first time walking on the way there. But the room is clean and overall it was a good value for the money. Unlimited free coffee is an added nice touch.

I love the staff here , when I ask if I can stay 1 more hour because we are waiting for the service they allowed us ,staff is very friendly . And I add 1 more guest in our room but they didn't charge us as long as we will use the same bed. Their bed can accomodate at least 3 people and still spacious . A bit dissapointed about our room because it has ants on the window sides. And no generator if its brownout , overall I still like the place you have free unlimited coffee on the veranda . Rate 4/5 😊

The pensionne house is not bad at all. You get what you paid for. Its good enough that its air-conditioned. It has free wifi. The cleanliness is not so nice. It smells a bit. The pillowcases has a smell also. We covered it with our extra clothes. But if youre on a tight budget. This is a good deal.

The didn’t change their bed sheets. I saw a blood stain in my pillow. The main problem is the water supply. It has a strong stinky smell. But the good thing is their staff is kind.

不適合帶有小朋友的 入住要有心理準備 水帶有黃土鐵鏽味 所以要自己買水刷牙 衣服別帶白色的因為洗完會變黃色的 房間蚊子蚊子異常多 隔音不是很好 但是這個價位CP值算是很高的飯店

Service was so welcoming! They head everything you’d want at this place. Tours for better prices, vans to other towns, beer, etc. But room itself was the worst. I’ve been in the Philip. for 3 weeks now. And this place was the noisiest! Aircon soooo loud. And roosters even more loud. They screamed 24/7. No water at all. It was only dripping a little, so we couldn’t shower for three days. But great location.

Scam, dont stay here
No water pressure. Told the staff but they didnt do anything about it. AC Turner on/off by itself. Smelly pillows. Scam when booking a tour. They had changed the route one week before our arrival but they never told us. (Gave us the "We should have known" attitude). We asked for a refund since we didnt got what she sold and what we paid for, she said no.

We already explained everything during your stay. The water issue is something we can't control and still we did our best. And we have house rules that when you leave you have to turn off ac and lights, that was written at your door. Smelly pillows? all are washed and clean before we use it to every room. maybe beacuse its smelly because you never request for make up room everytime you leave. About the tour new destination, we did not change anything, it was a new policy made by the LGU not us. The tour guide already it to you and it was okay with you then. How could you say it's a scam? if it is well explained by. Anyway, We thank you for your staying.

El Nido stay
The room is perfect for a family of 7 (with 2 kids) like us, big beds and spacious room. The view is amazing as well. We love that they have free unlimited coffee also. Service is good and staff are very supportive. :-) The breakfast meal is a bit expensive but it tastes good anyway. I suggest you create new meal options. Overall, Mam Olson Pensionne hotel is a great mid-level hotel to stay! Thank you, Ms. Jean!

Meilleur rapport qualité prix d’el Nido
Très bon accueil, chambre très propre et spacieuse, très bon rapport qualité prix. Calme, pas un bruit, mis à part les miaulements de l’adorable et grand bavard babos. En revanche l’accès est dangereux, il faut vraiment faire attention ou on met les pieds au risque de tomber dans les égouts, impossible d’y accéder avec une valise à roulettes. Le gros point négatif pour moi c’est qu’à la réception ils vendent chips, gâteaux coca et autres junk food. Lorsque je suis partie dans ma chambre prendre ma douche et que les enfants sont restés jouer en bas avec les chats, la réceptionniste à donné à mes enfants un nombre incalculable de chips, gateaux et autres à mes enfants sans mon consentement, je l’ai su qu’au Check out en voyant la note très salée, évidemment mes enfants se sont bien gardés de me le dire, toutes ces choses étant interdites à la maison
