"Charlie’s El Nido was an absolute gem. It’s not on the water but it is only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and very close to the airport. The pool was crisp, the facility was well maintained and the rooms were great. We did have a suite but still, what we had was quite nice. Especially compared to some other properties around the area. My extended Filipino family also loved their breakfast stating it was very good. They offered a variety of Filipino classics along with pancakes and eggs...

"At restaurants and bar have to be careful because the menu one price and when you pay the bill … complete different price…??? and I ask why the price is different and the answer was the price go up …..? really when you choose some drinks and food you look at the price on the menu. Finally you get charged double example. One beer120 and on the bill was 230 Philippine money pesos ..?? all the drinks and food double price and surprise come after when you check out to the hotel when you have to...

"Wir wurden vom Fenster sofort in den Bann gezogen.
Der Balkon geht auf den Dschungel, das riesige Glasfenster, die grünen Bäume draußen. Man spürt, dass die Luft dort anders ist. Wir haben Musik aufgelegt und hatten das Gefühl, nirgendwo hinmüssen zu müssen. Das Zimmer war einfach so angenehm.
Der kostenlose Shuttle hat gut funktioniert. Der Fahrer hat uns auf der Fahrt viel über die Philippinen erzählt, und als wir am Lio Beach ankamen, fühlte es sich an, als würden wir ihn schon lange...

"Breakfast was very good — you order from the menu, choosing from a selection of Filipino rice‑based dishes or English options such as eggs or omelettes. You can then additionally take items from the continental buffet. Fruit was served on a plate, but it was only four small pieces rather than unlimited.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only downside for us was the beach. We chose this hotel because it advertised “direct access to the beach”, but in reality it was a rocky shoreline...

"The hotel was clean the location is horrible the buffet breakfast was terrible ordering off the menu was terrible they didn’t have a fraction of what was listed on the menu. I realize that it’s in a busy tourist spot but it was not good value for the money . Overpriced for what you get I don’t recommend and won’t stay again."

"We loved the fact that they provided Netflix! So much more useful than the cable channels provided by most hotels.

We have reservations of 3 rooms for 6 days. We got in the hotel late around 10pm, the rooms are not ready yet. When we get in the room, rooms smells terrible. The washrooms are not flushing well. "The worst DIVE ever. Upon walking in to the area, it was completely nasty. Was offered a room without air conditioning. Are you serious in the Philippines!. Walked right out and did not get a refund eventhough we did not stay there and the terms of agreement were not honored! Be extra careful with these rip-offs!"

"Our group of 7 didn’t have a chance to stay at the property because we attempted to call and texted the hotel but no one answered the text and the contact phone numbers we found on line and face book responded “calls incomplete.” After a 5 hours drive from Puerto Princesa, around 7:00 pm,, tired and frustrated nog being accommodated by the hotel, we ended looking for another hotel that accommodate us and pay another fees.
