El Cedro Packages (Flight + Hotel)

El cuarto fue definitivamente una pieza clave por la cual no puedo darle a nuestra vacación, 5 estrellas. El día de check-in, una pared del baño con un receptáculo electrico estaba rota, con huecos, piezas de cemento en el suelo, justo al lado del lavamanos y tenía una menor de edad con nosotros en la habitación lo cual es un hazard. Fue arreglado el mismo día per ningún cuarto debe estar en esas condiciones a la hora de ser entregado a un huésped. Deben tener un protocolo de inspección. Había una gotera en el a/c que caía sobre el mini bar y llegaba hasta el suelo, completamente empapado día y noche. La caja fuerte tampoco funcionaba. El televisor solo contaba con 4-5 canales locales. Exigí cambio de habitación más sin embargo no fue otorgado. Comida y bebida: no esperaba comida de la mejor calidad, estaba bastante decente tomando en consideración el precio a pagar. La bebida….. no esperen embriagarse. Ese alcohol que sirven no cabe duda que está diluido con agua o lo reemplazan con uno de muy baja calidad y lo ponen en botellas de renombre para engañar al huésped. Puro agua y azúcar. Staff: ídolos todos. La atención fue impecable. Nicol y Yolanda del spa, fueron muy atentas y serviciales. Sebastián, tremendo tipazo también. Pero aquí el galardón a la MVP se lo lleva Ana Rivera la cual apodamos “avispita” porque para esa chica no había nada imposible. Ana se ganó el corazón de nuestros niños (3) y por ende el de nosotros los padres. Le cogimos muchos cariño.

It was a fantastic stay for our family. We spanned 3 generations - grandparent, parents, and adult children - and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was wonderful, even for our gluten free and vegetarian family members. My father-in-law loved the buffet and my children sampled all the choices. Dario at the breakfast buffet was super attentive, while at the beach, Luis, Bryan, and Miguel all made sure we had everything we needed and Myra made sure everything was spotless.

Everything in this hotel is top of the line. This is a beautiful and delightful place to stay. Highest recommendation!!

The pools and resort upkeep were great. The staff were hit or miss - considerable amount of staff had difficulty communicating in English, I visited finest in Cancun and the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff in this location doesn’t compare. There were a couple of exceptions but by and large the staff service was not inspiring. The food was disappointing. In the Mercato while there was great quantity the quality, flavor and presentation was poor. The a lacarte restaurants were hit or miss. The French restaurant was embarrassing - we couldn’t get past the appetizers as the lobster served was like a piece of rubber and the so called fois gras when we did find the tiny spec in the midst of layers of greenery wasn’t even enough for me to determine if it was food gras. Surf and Turf was by far the best restaurant but it’s only opened 3 days a week. It feels like Finest has been cutting corners when I compare to my experience in finest in Cancun.

We had a very good week here! Setting is beautiful, and rooms/suites are great for families. Most of the staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. The food was good but not great. Property shows some wear/age. The shows were VERY loud at night. I had to sleep with ear plugs. Also, it was hard to find a good margarita!
