The Riad is in a great location to explore the Medina and there are great places to eat just a short walk away. The dinner we had at the Riad itself was wonderful as well. "It’s my most favorite Riad in all of Morocco! I doubt I’ll ever find a more wonderful team of people who go above and beyond to make everyone’s stay most enjoyable. "We loved the beauty of the Riad courtyard and our room. We also loved the rooftop terrace of the Riad. We had one of our dinners up on the rooftop and we spent quite a bit of time enjoying the view of the medina and city from there. Breakfast was so-so and definitely not even close to one of the best we had compared to most of the other places we stayed in Morocco. The dinners were also not very good compared to other guest houses and restaurants we ate at in Morocco so we wouldn't recommend having your dinner there during your stay. We were especially disappointed with the dinner service one evening when the waiter spent a good 20 minutes chatting with a single woman dining alone instead of bringing us the salt and pepper we asked for. Lastly, we would highly recommend parking your car in the secure parking area instead of the street parking located just inside the medina. Finding and getting to the street parking was an absolute nightmare and complete waste of time. Then the scammers on the street demanded payment for parking there after we were told by the Riad it was free to park on the street. The staff from the Riad was no help when it came to dealing with the parking scammer. Do yourself a favour and just pay a bit more to park in the secured parking area. At least you won't have to deal with all the scammers in the medina and you will probably end of having a more relaxing experience."

"great property with beautifully manicured gardens and lobby , nice restaurants and food quality was top notch. be warned that like any hotel they charge on your card at check in for possible extras but ask you to pay for extras again at check out sayinh they will release your initial amount of MAD 2000, 5 days later I am still waiting for that initial deposit to be credited back into my account"

"It's ok as a place to sleep for a couple of nights, and the location is good. However, it's rather dark and damp, and the bathroom didn't feel clean, I guess because it's quite an old property. Breakfast portions were very small. The manager was very helpful, and packed us a takeaway breakfast for our early checkout."

"We absolutely loved Riad El Yacout. This is my 4th visit to Morocco over the years, across different cities in this beautiful country, and this is honestly the best place I have stayed so far (even in comparison to 4- or 5-star hotels that I used in my previous trips). It’s very clean, very nicely decorated in authentic and traditional Moroccan style, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely nice, courteous and professional and they really go out of their way to make guests feel warmly welcome and at home. They serve a delicious and very generous breakfast, and always do it with a very warm welcome in the morning and a friendly smile. The location in the Medina is probably more suitable for tourists than business travelers. But this worked perfectly for us as we were on a family vacation and, if you have plenty of time (which we did) and you are patient enough to navigate the huge labyrinth of the Fes Medina (which we were), it’s actually a wonderful location to experience the culture, history and vibrancy of this great city. If we ever come back to Fes, which is likely, Riad El Yacout will definitely be our first choice as a place to stay. Till next time, Choukrane Jazzilane!"
