"The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit."

The room had some nice touches and decor. The breakfast was relaxed in this very quiet part of town. Everything is walkable. "We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. "This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and rooms that are comfortable and well appointed. The only problem with the hotel and it is not insignificant is that directly across the street is a loud and all-night cafe which gets louder and louder as the night goes on as the patrons get drunker and drunker. Nights can be very noisy."

"Great location. Unfortunately there is no elevator and our room was up 3 flights of stairs with luggage a challenge. Breakfast was great with Nespresso coffee. Easy to walk entire Avignon sites. Frederick gave us excellent info on what to see and where to eat. Charming Boutique hotel although the streets cape next to a Tattoo parlour was a bit off putting .
