"This is an impressive grand old hotel with professional, friendly staff. We really enjoyed its position on the seafront and its two pools. However, parts of the hotel are very dated and staff were overwhelmed at breakfast, which meant service was slow and detracted from overall experience. The bed was too soft and pillows old and flat. The bathroom was a museum piece! For these reasons, we felt it was very overpriced.It needs alot of money spending on it to modernise it."

"This is an excellent hotel. Great service and very comfortable. Breakfast was standard breakfast buffet but with very high quality food. Bar and food great and reasonable for a hotel of this quality and location Wouldn't look anywhere else. "

"Everything perfect.... location, hosts and room. Bonus of a kitchen is really handy. Bear in mind no lift but we were in room 2 so only up one flight. We will return 😍"

"We loved the Hotel. Nick was a very good host. Very near to the sea. A short walk to the pier and shops. We had a lovely stay! A good breakfast selection hot and cold. Staff very friendly. Would defo stay again if in the area! "
