Location was great for us, air conditioning effective and breakfast perfectly fine given the price-point. The hotel is under refurbishment so obviously things were not as the staff would wish them to be. We would stay here again.

Older establishment, but rooms were modernized well. Ample hot water and clean room. Staff was cordial and efficient. Right off I 80. Nothing in walking distance but city of East Stroudsburg a ten minute ride away. Fine for one night stay, rates very reasonable.

Bathroom floor was very dirty. Brought my own cleaning products to clean tub. There was trash under the bed like the floor wasn't properly cleaned. No closet to hang clothes. Television was hard to work. Rear door to hotel was constantly open. Loud and vulgar language by other guest the night before checkout was a nuisance. I will say that the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Since we last stayed, remodeling has continued! The breakfast room is now open and updated. Beds were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the fridge and microwave. Ice machine was out of order. Night and morning staff were helpful and friendly!

It wasn't completely awful but not good. There was garbage scattered on the ground right outside the front lobby. No one ever came to pick it up for 3 days. The air conditioner was blowing weird sour smelling air and the room felt and smelled damp. It wasn't filthy or anything but the room was dated with worn out bathroom fixtures and outlets that didn't work throughout the whole room. The tv remotes didn't work. The window wouldn't lock which I wasn't thrilled about. The breakfast was meh. I feel for what I paid, it could have been a lot nicer. I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a great hotel for the price point. It does not offer a lot of amenities, though a modest breakfast is included, but it does offer high value for a budget-minded hotel. Very easy on / off highway location. I want to give a special shout out to Ken at the front desk, who was super friendly upon arrival and then extremely helpful once I left an item in the room after I went home.

Difficult to find the property with huge highway construction going on right across the street. (obviously out of the facility's control) Stairways to all rooms make accessibility difficult. Also, hallways need brighter lighting and carpeting. (who chose that carpet??) The combination of low light and dark carpet made stairways treacherous. Ice machines were not operating. Breakfast food was very limited in choices and quantity. Staff at counter was very helpful and welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate.

If your trying to save some money, there aren't maybe places that put on as good a show. The hotel is classicly dated. Tucked away just off some forever road construction in Stroudsburg PA. Minutes from main street (Gamers Edge )and the Pocono Cinema and Cultural Center (Great ice Cream and movie treats) The area has great diners within 15min but for the most part you'll have to hit main street for any night life as Stroudsburg is on Small town time. The Motel staff is on the ball if asked anything, while blending into background and leaving you to enjoy your stay. The wifi was a little janky at times but for a middle of nowhere Hotspot it held up to some heavy youtube watching. Clearly not a spot for online gameplay. (I didn't try to play online with my laptop) Overall it was a fine stay. Great savings. Would do it again if I'm in the area.

the phone didn't work to call the desk with questions . I mentioned it twice, no response...on the last day the lamp didn't work either...I traced it to the extension cord..wasn't working, had to plug the lamp into the wall and as I had no use for the clock, but I needed the lamp, I switched them. I did laundry while I was there, and the staff was VERY nice, and gave me a little detergent, but under the washer LID, it was pretty dirty in the back creases of the lid. turnoff. also, I think the tub should have handholds, I am somewhat old and disabled.. and the floor is pretty slippery when wet feet hit it..had to put a towel down to walk on. ....the freezer door in the fridge wouldn't close, the coffee was very good IN the cafeteria for breakfast, but coffee in the room was VERY nasty and very old tasting. Little breakfast sandwiches the first and second day, none the third
