Fabulous service

Had a mistake with the online booking this is a thing that we find can happen via a portal like hotels.com and has happened to us on a few occasions . The staff here were brilliant though couldn’t help the first night went over and above to ensure the second was in a suitable room we had booked with balcony and sea view

Das Hotel machte mir bei meiner Ankunft Angst und Schrecken wir sahen es nur von aussen die Fasade eine Katastrophe der sicherheits Zaun zum erschrecken wir haben dieses Hotel nicht betreten und haben uns entschlossen in eineren Stadt ein Hotel zu buchen.wir sind auf einer Rundreise von Kapstadt nach Johannesburg aber so etwas haben wir in keiner Stadt angetroffen

The Hampton - outstanding!

Thank you to all staff who went beyond the extra mile to make the 70.3 ironman weekend such a fabulous one. Thank you for all your effort in storing our bikes safely AND organising a breakfast at 04:30am on race day. Wow! Very clean; great breakfasts and very friendly and attentive staff. I am blown away by the service received at The Hampton

Great place, friendly, clean, modern, I liked that it didn't feel too much like you were in someone's private house as you usually do when you're in a B&B, only thing is the area wasn't too great, but it helped that there was safe parking inside.

We stayed the night here en-route Port Alfred. Room is not as depicted in the picture - was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The rooms have apparently been revamped but the floors are still old. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we were unknowingly late for breakfast and they made breakfast just for us. Great view from the dining room!

Great view

Used The Hampton as a half way stop on our way from KZN to Plett both going down and coming back. It's not cheap but once inside it's very nicely appointed, friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. It's virtually on the coastline with beaches close by but the approach is through a very seedy part of town so I wouldn't recommend going for a walk. Security for cars etc is great.
