Good option for traveller on budget

Nothing to complain about really, as advertised and worth the price. Bathroom for the single room is across the hallway and might be shared if the place is full (had it to myself during my stay). Close to DUS airport (walk to terminal in 20-25 min possible with light luggage or 2-wheeled suitcase). Very clean, the house itself was quiet and no traffic noise (quiet side street). Rooms are above a pub so not sure if there would be some noise due to that on weekends. Situated below the approach path of the airport (or rather takeoff, during the prevailing westerly winds) there is noise due to jets taking off, but the window is soundproof enough to block most of the noise, and there are no takeoffs between 22 and 6:00. One block away there’s a good bakery and two Greek restaurants.

I only received information in German, and when I finally met one from the staff, also only German.. this is an airport hotel, come on. I couldn’t get breakfast, since apparently I should have booked this in advance, but when I tried to find anyone from the staff on the evening of my arrival, I sinply couldn’t, this within the opening ours. It is a very loud place, not just from the airplanes, but also from the other rooms. I could here my neighbor snoring clearly.

Alternate airport accommodations

A charming place to stay above a pub. It was quiet, though, did not have any problems with air port noise either. The facilities are modern, clean and maintained to perfection. That said I stayed in a small attic room. For my short stay I enjoyed it. It was easy to catch a 10 minute Uber ride to the airport. It’s also a 2 km walk to the main terminal along service roads.

The reception is a bar. No elevator. No real restaurant available. 1950 standard. Paper thin wall, you hear exactly every detail from other rooms. If you really need somewhere to stay for Max 1 night.

Fab location and hospitable

Clean bathroom (adjacent not ensuite) and room. My room was fine for me, but as it was on the 2nd floor, it would not be accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Helpful friendly staff. Pub (selling some food on the ground floor). They serve breakfast, too - but I had too leave before service, so I can't comment. Location was great for the airport- short walk over the motorway bridge to the shuttle bus, which runs every 20 mins. The tram (U79) into the city is right outside the hotel and runs frequently. For the price, it was perfect.

Sehr nette, saubere Zimmer. Habe jeweils vor und nach meinem Urlaub eine Nacht im Gasthaus verbracht und hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Einige Zimmer haben ein separates Bad aber mit Einzelnutzung, Lage zum und Erreichbarkeit des Flughafens ist super. Per Aushang wird man über die Abfahrzeiten des ÖPNV Richtung Flughafen informiert.

No había desayuno. Solo tuvimos una interacción con la persona encargada del bar y fue para ver si nos podían cuidar las maletas hasta las 3 pm, nos dijeron que no. El cabezal de la regadera de nuestra habitación necesita ser cambiado. Desafortunadamente, dos mañanas empezaron obras en la propiedad, afuera de nuestra habitación a las 7:30 am. Las habitaciones muy limpias y las instrucciones para acceder al cuarto sin problema. Convenientemente cerca del aeropuerto y a dos estaciones del Messe. Incluso se puede caminar al recinto.

Havaalina metro otobüs duraklarına inanılmaz kolay ulaşım nedeniyle hiç sorun yaşamadım. Is seyahatleri için oldukça pratik ve uygun bir konaklama tercihi olabilir. Asansör bulunmamaktadır.

Klasse für einen Kurztrip

Kleine schöne Pension mit Kneipe. Sehr freundliches Personal, hübsche, saubere und zweckmäßige Zimmer. Die Arena ist schnell zu erreichen, die UBahn direkt vor der Tür. Der Flughafen in der Nähe und der "Lärm" haben uns nicht gestört. Für einen Kurztrip sehr zu empfehlen.

Great, affordable option

Simple, clean, nice neighborhood and very close to the train. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not for you, but it was perfect for what I needed while in Dusseldorf for business.

They answered the phone even though it was after 11pm. Explained where the key was. Comfy beds, clean room and they left a small Santa chocolate on the bed! It was a quiet, cozy area, but I only stayed for 5 hours, so I don't know how noisy it gets in the morning. Was easy to find as it was right next to the tram station!
