"I'd read reviews, hoped it wouldn't be that bad... Office rarely open, communication is cryptic and preregistration and check-in are archaic and frustrating. Area where lock box located is VERY poorly lit - needed flashlights. I'd not been sent lock box code so I texted the number posted. They replied with code, inside box was no packet with my name. I texted back inquiring, 'Please look for #XX, we do not put actual guest names on packets for security', I replied, there is no envelope with #XX, which alias did you use for me, how would I know that? They replied, with a different unit number. We located packet and sent pic highlighting new unit and asked if this was correct... No response, crickets! We found the unit, stayed the night - 6:53 am received a text explaining "this is not a 24 hr text line, normally only manned during business hours. Were you able to find the unit?" SHODDY operation.
Next day we were texted, 'power outage expected, plan accordingly.' Temp was 50 degrees, we lost power at 9:01 am, power restoration expected 3-4 pm. Older neighbor knocked on our door, he had no clue, as no one had communicated. I inquired if they would provide wood for fireplace, nope, they were not able to provide ANY compensation, "it's like losing power at your home".
They’re older units, nothing fancy, clean if desperate, but DO NOT STAY HERE! Units are far off main road and not convenient to get in/out of resort."
