(I recommend that you take E Front Ave. behind the property, to stay off of the busy road.) "The motel is older, but it has been updated and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived the front desk person was exceptional and made sure throughout our stay that we had everything we needed. The motel was easy walking distance to the restaurants, the shopping district, parks, and the boardwalk. We had an exceptional stay at the Flamingo."

The hotel decided to cancel our reservation in the morning of our arriving due to some cc pre authorization issue without any attempt whatsoever of contacting us. "The hotel room was not like the pictures and described. With the suite we reserved, we expected a separate room for the king which is not available, which I paid extra for. Also we were charged an additional $5.00 because of the company who owns the hotel(IGA) calls it a destination fee. The room was clean and pool was nice. Left too early to try breakfast."

"A beautiful property with staff members that you can tell really take pride in the guest experience. We had wonderful conversations with the staff who gave us great recommendations for things to do and check out in the area. Restaurant was also fantastic - the salmon chowder was truly the best soup I’ve ever had. We hope to be back again someday soon."

"The layout of the building is a little weird. Our room was located near the corner of an L, from our room we could see directly into the other rooms and vice versa unless we had our blinds closed. The breakfast was only ok. I wish there was a waffle maker, they ran out of food, plates and bowls 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there. They did have pancakes one day but they were the frozen kind you see in bags at Walmart. The hotel is new and things are kept clean. The staff was very friendly...
