"The Helaina is a very high standard of bed and breakfast property. We stayed in a Premium Double room on the top floor. The room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom/shower. This room is reached by 6 flights of stairs of varying lengths (it is on the 3rd floor), so not for the infirm or those with heavy luggage. "Stayed at the city guest for a city break. The location was great just a short walk from the Minster and the city centre. The room we stayed in was small but very homely. It was comfortable and clean. It was also the small touches that were nice, with chocolates and a bottle of water supplied every day. Lots of parking right outside (ensure to request a virtual parking permit in advance) - fabulously clean, room with an incredibly comfy bed (really important to both of us due to back issues). Shared bathroom no issues, spotless and no waits even tho the property was fully booked. Breakfast absolutely fantastic, people lovely, and a very short walk to the city walls thru the park.
