"The owners were just lovely, it is set up as a motel so that your door opens right onto the walkway. The location was great. The breakfast was wonderful -the walk to downtown and fifth Street market was perfect.. The inside is an old building refurbished without having lost its charm. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the air-conditioning was fantastic.!! would definitely stay here again."

"Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke, but when I mentioned it to the employee at the front desk, she apologized and upgraded us from a queen to a king bed and we quickly moved rooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable. There were some deferred maintenance issues. The full length mirror was loose on the bottom and it banged against the bathroom door. There were also some long hairs on the bathroom floor. This room was much quieter. Ask for a room back from the road and you will be happier. Very nice included buffet breakfast with a friendly employee keeping things topped up. Aside from a couple of minor issues, we had a fairly good experience."

"The room was clean, but in need of a deep clean on the carpets and the bed was comfortable but had a big divot in it. The fitness room was perfect and open 24 hours. The breakfast was good. Would stay again."

"The Yew suite was a lovely space with plenty of room to move about, a really delightful shower, and a well appointed kitchen. The only thing I could quibble about is the need for a table for eating. There is a high bar that seats 2, but was a bit difficult for us to use as we are older and had difficulty getting up into the bar stools. We used the delightful wraparound deck to eat our dinner, which was very enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic!"
