"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."

"Overall stay was good. However, the bathrooms are visible inside the room. Not recommended for a family to stay inside the room. I kindly suggest to put up curtains or a blurred glass to have privacy. Also, the balconies are connected to each room with a sliding door which is kind of unnecessary i feel. "We had a wonderful stay at Seascape! We have stayed in the past and during its infancy. It just gets better each time! You are staying directly on a beautiful swimming and surfing beach. "Absolutely one of the best beach Villa locations we’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, clean, in the perfect location and has wonderful staff. They cater to your every need. Breakfast on the beach side is wonderful. The beach itself is so secluded, but yet you can walk along to the left and right to see the stunning views. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. We stayed in the ocean signature suite, which has a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the pool. So convenient to get to Marissa Beach or to Matara or in fact anywhere in a Tuk Tuk. We even took one to Galle Fort which was a fabulous experience. One of the hotel staff hooked us up with a Tuk Tuk Driver to figure out his daily rate. My only issue was that the hotel tried to change the cost of the taxi ride back to the airport which we had already arranged in advance. We also asked for a return taxi to a wedding 3 miles away and were quoted $50 which was obviously ridiculous. Just a little disappointing. Overall would highly recommend."
