Enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5 minute walk to the beach. Rooms were nice, but the WiFi in the rooms weren’t too reliable. We went to the pool area to get online.

This in one of the places where ravishing reviews depart from personal experience. The good: a beautiful pool yard The bad: my room was derelict, renovated well over a decade ago. The AC did not work, dampened the floor, everything. The “welcome” desk was the coldest in my 50 years travelling, no courtesy. The ugly: in Tunez there are no private beaches, but the government rents them all the way up to 3 meters from the water. We seated in the beach with the same name as the hotel, we were expelled by 5 guards. The hotel reception never gave us direction on which was their beach, when I told them what happened, no apologies, they did not care. Summary, one of my worst experiences as a tourist in over 148 countries.

Wir waren wie immer grundsätzlich zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Toumana. Ein bisschen mehr Besteck wäre gut (wir hatten ein einziges, stumpfes Messer, zwei Gabeln und Löffel) und Spülmittel+Schwamm wären cool. Preis/Leistung passt und wir kommen wieder.

J'y allais depuis plusieurs années (septième fois), je vais y retourner fin octobre. Mais ce sera la dernière fois, je pense. Comme pour beaucoup de clients réguliers. L'hôtel s'est considérablement, dégradé, les boissons et les repas sont très chers et pas à la hauteur. J'ai eu tout un tas de mésaventures. Erreur de chambre, une climatisation qui tombe, l'autre qui déverse des glaçons partout, couloir inondé et je me casse la figure. Micro-onde pas nettoyé avec une odeur de vieux poisson. Pas de vaisselle. Et surtout, d'énormes cafards dans la salle de bains. On me change de chambre au bout de 5 jours ! Je reste trois semaines... Chambre suivante : frigo sale, pas de wifi pendant 3 jours et je suis la seule, or j'en ai besoin impérativement. La clé se coince dans la porte d'entrée, personne ne vient m'aider. Je me débrouille pour dégripper avec de la crème solaire. Aucune réactivité ni aide, sauf du réceptionniste Aymen. On m'avait promis une compensation : rien. Bref, comme une douzaine de clients fidèles, j'irai ailleurs l'an prochain. Certains ont déjà réservé ailleurs

Ich war nun das zweite Mal im Toumana und bin nach wie vor zufrieden. Der Pool, die Anlage, die Wohneinheiten, alles gut. Zu bemängeln ist, dass es immernoch keine scharfen Messer auf dem Zimmer gibt und unsere Herdplatte bis zum Schluss nicht funktioniert hat. Die Klimaanlage wurde direkt repariert, der Herd aber nicht, wir haben dann irgendwann nicht mehr reklamiert und uns fürs Essen gehen entschieden :) Der Strandabschnitt ist klein aber fein. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir zufrieden und kommen wieder!

J’ai hésité entre moyen et bien. Note spéciale aux personnels qui est d’une extrême gentillesse et au complexe qui reste correct néanmoins cela reste moyen dans l’ensemble. Les espaces de repos sont petits et la piscine est un peu juste. Idem pour les chambres lit confortables mais rien d’exceptionnel. Pas de wifi sauf à la réception Le complexe est peu adapté aux enfants car pas d’activités

Nous avons déjà séjourné aux Jardins de Toumana mais nous avons eu l'impression que le service s'est légèrement dégradé depuis 4 ans. Le personnel n'est plus si accueillant et le service rendu est très moyen. Dans la chambre ça sentait les égouts et le nettoyage était très moyen. Nous comprenons que l'éco-responsabilité est importante et que le lavage quotidien des draps et serviettes n'est pas nécessaire, mais lorsque les draps sont sales il est important de les changer. Aussi, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas et malgré notre demande le problème n'a pas été résolu.

Partis en famille avec 3 enfants nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le service est top. L’emplacement est pratique pour se rendre à la plage, à Midoun et Houmt souk. Pour l’herbergement, nous avions le duplex, très spacieux et agréable. Juste peut être revoir un peu le nettoyage des salles de bain et un peu plus d’accessoires dans la cuisine. Mais dans l’ensemble, très bon rapport qualité /prix

Un havre de paix

Un hotel charmant, reposant. De petites batisses enfouies dans la végétation. Bon acceuil, propreté, on se sent bien. Une tres bonne restauration, bien présentée, bien servi.Bref que du bonheur. Les seules regrets, c'est le mobilier vieillissant, chauffage tres bruyant, wifi capricieux, mais personnel tres réactif qui fait tout pour vous arranger. De tres bons souvenir pour moi.
