"This was a very cozy and relatively private igloo. We chose it for clear view should there have been northern lights. There were none during our stay but it was still a great stop. Lovely expansive view. I wasn't expecting it to be so close to the main road with relatively bright lighting as a result. The common area was nice and clean with adequate bathrooms for the number of people during the times we came to the space."

This property was the highlight of my Icelandic experience! It had the most beautiful, scenic location, super remote with a beautiful sea front view. I saw the northern lights 3 times from my room was an unreal experience. The place was so clean, quiet and cozy and the owners were so lovely and helpful when needed. We stayed here for one night, everything was perfect. Our room was on the ground floor, it has big windows which was perfect for those Amazing views outside the hotel. The restaurant was great, and breakfast was excellent ... Best thing about this hotel was the staffs, everyone was so polite & helpful. Especially the lady at the reception (I didn’t get her name), check in & out was easy, we loved it here x

What a view! We arrived via the gravel road from the Hvita River valley, great drive. Easy check in, we got in early too. We were in the lodge building away from the main building where we were the inly guests. After some sight seeing we returned and had drinks in the dining area where the picture window views are amazing. We ate there also, where we had the soup (asparagus) and the fish (cod) - both generous and tasty portions. The rooms in the lodge were spacious and comfy and the room we had...

Lovely property! Wish we had better weather to be able to utilize all the amenities! We arrived 4 hours before check in and they were able to accolade us quickly. Geothermal Hot tuba were amazing! Only thing; bistro and restaurant on site are extremely expensive and not a huge selection. These are the only two food establishments for 5.6km - so plan accordingly. Standard Rooms do have a small fridge but do not have a microwave or anything to heat up food if you’re thinking of bringing your own

Although this place really is a long way on an unpaved road from the nearest village, it really adds to the peace and quiet - there is NO noise here outside except for nature - a rare thing these days ! The staff could not do enough for us and our daughters - nothing was too much trouble ! The food was stunning - some of the best we have had anywhere, let alone in Iceland Breakfast was more than adequate. We will come back ! Well-recommended
