"A beautiful resort – highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our two-night stay at Cocana in the Gili Islands. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has a lovely chic, modern resort feel. It’s a great place to relax and escape a little from the hustle and bustle of the island.
We stayed in a Level 1 Lagoon Villa, which had direct access to the lagoon pool shared by the villas in that section. It was lovely having the pool right outside the villa and being able to step straight in. The resort also has a huge main swimming pool with lovely cabanas, giving you plenty of space to unwind and enjoy your stay.
The villa itself was modern, spacious and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of both à la carte and buffet options.
The beach is just across the road, with lovely seating where you can enjoy a drink and watch the sunset – a perfect spot to end the day.
Having explored quite a bit of the island, Cocana definitely stood out as one of the best hotels we came across. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
