"Location, clean and staff was nice . We stayed in the gothic ( I think that’s the name)house , just down the street. Still nice and quaint! A few inconveniences like a wine cooler for a refrigerator, no microwave, dead bugs on window treatments and no counter space in bathroom but would still recommend!"

Note that the two king deluxe penthouse rooms are on the fourth floor and the elevator stop at the third floor so you must walk one flight. There seemed to be only one ice machine and set of vending machines on the first floor of the main housing unit. The continental breakfast is more of a snack room. There is a restaurant next-door, but it seems to be open only in the evenings, perhaps for lunch on the weekends. Note that...

"Beautiful property, convenient location, and walkable from the ferry terminal. The staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Bonus was the organic farm across the street with all of the animals =) The property also owns a local farm-to-table restaurant that has excellent service and food. My husband and I can't wait to return with our family."

"When you enter the shore house it’s really dark, dingy and the front desk area is very cluttered. It’s nothing like the images on the website. The bathrooms are super tiny with the sink outside in the room. The sink is so poorly constructed that you can barely wash your face or brush your teeth without getting water all over the floor. "Absolutely loved our stay at the Eureka. It’s just up the hill from the farm, and you have a beautiful view of all the trees and some water. They were so clean, air conditioned, and they have a nice little outdoor shed for storage for before and after check out which made everything so simple. They have a coffee area you can make yourself too at any time of day. They even have an area for checked out guest to use the showers upstairs and outside.
