"We had a lovely 1 night stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The leisure centre was very noisy and changing rooms were small and no explananation on how to use the locker and wrist band. Had to ask for help. Breakfast was lovely. "

"Check in at 4pm was chaos - almost queuing out of the door, however the staff were very helpful when we eventually got to them. Our parents had a lovely room, however our ‘dog friendly’ room was very small & basic which was disappointing as there ia an additional charge of £50 per night for dogs! The cooked breakfast was very good & the location is good being directly opposite the train station. "

"Overall, we have a good stay. Lots of free on site parking. Check in was easy but the room was quite far with lots of up and down stairs). The room itself was fine, nice to have snacks. Could have been a bit cleaner and the TV was tiny. The bathroom was good but the shower screen is too small so water would drip outside of the bathtub onto the floor. Breakfast was generally good with a reasonable variety of options. We enjoyed the pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi but were disappointed to find...

"We found the hotel was in a very central great location. The room was lovely with a great view of the pier and the sea. We also loved the breakfast menu and table service by the pleasant staff but would have liked the time of the breakfast slot to have been more variable than the 1 hour given; for e.g from 8-10.30am instead of 8.30-9.30am, so guests have option of a lie in but still able to have breakfast. On a whole, we had a fab stay at The Marlborough Hotel."
