"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one...

We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. "This Hotel is just outside of Ettringen and Mayen, just down the road from Schloss Bursheim. It sits next to a National forest so the scene is quite lovely and peaceful. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating within the boundaries of the Covid 19 rules. I would stay here again. "
