"We enjoyed our stay at Glenghorm Resort! It’s on a really great spot on the Cabot Trail. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great that they had a restaurant available too. We enjoyed having a view of the water and the room itself was very spacious (depending on which building they put you in). The only downside to our stay was the bed was uncomfortable and the hot water in the shower was inconsistent. But our overall experience was quite pleasant!"

"Nothing was unique. Bedding was dirty. The whole room should be cleaned properly. Dirt and dust. Won't stay again."

"Older interesting set of buildings, but clean and comfortable."

"Good location "

"The staff were very helpful. The hot / cold breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this location"

"Amazing property for a family stay!"

"The cottage was so cute and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful view of lake. Small community, but everything was close by."

"Centrally located with a good restaurant, laundry facilities and wonderful and helpful staff"

"The most amazing view from the property. Lonnie was super accommodating when we arrived and great to chat with."

"This was everything we hoped it would be. Unique, private, clean, well equipped as it should be and convenient to the North coast for all the beauty and wilderness it has to offer. Everything worked except for the weather which no one can control. When I come back to Cape Breton, I will be booking Blue Bayou again and well in advance since it will soon be a must for thousands of Cabot Trail visitors throughout the season."

"Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were very warm and welcoming. The food and live music in the pub were fantastic. Hot tub was nice but not super hot and there were no towels left. I called requesting towels but they took their time getting there. Absolutely beautiful grounds. Beautiful well-appointed rooms - try to get a balcony!"

"The staff was helpful. The rooms were clean. The restaurant was good. The rooms had a musty smell to them."

"The view was good, they stopped serving dinner and other restaurants are a bit of a drive away. When you turn off the lights the power is off to your devices so that was a problem. Also woke up to a spider in the bed, didn’t like that either. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"Nice property ,just next to Tim hortons and Gas station ."

"Our room was clean but on the small side. The included breakfast was meager, some bread and jam and cold cereal with coffee and orange juice. Dinner was not very good. As the price was fair for what we got I probably come back again"
