"Our first time staying at this resort was a lovely family vacation overall. While there are definitely areas that could use improvement, we enjoyed our time here and saw a lot of potential in the property.The beach was absolutely amazing of the highlights of our stay! The staff members were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. A special thank you to Gabriel, who helped us book the à la carte steakhouse for one of our evenings and took the time to explain some of the additional benefits available at Senator's sister property.The resort itself is a little outdated and would benefit greatly from renovations, especially the bathrooms, guest room furnishings, bedding, and pool areas. The entertainment shows were okay, although a little basic and not particularly impressive.Food is another area where there is room for improvement. Some dishes were on the dry side, and the dinner buffet had a fairly limited selection. Adding more meat options, a greater variety of dishes, & flavorful sauces would make a big difference in the dining experience.On the positive side, our children had a wonderful time making new friends at the pool & enjoying their vacation. Sometimes those little moments are what make a family trip special.Overall, we had a beautiful and relaxing vacation. The resort has so much potential, & with some investment in renovations, food variety, and entertainment, it could become an even better destination. Will be returning in the future 🌴🫶😊"
